I Always Have 3 Pairs of Golf Shoes With Me. Here’s What I Can’t Stop Wearing Right Now

You read the title.

I always have at least 3 pairs of golf shoes in my car, because you never know when you’re going to need to crank out a quick nine on a moment’s notice.

My opportunities to golf as a new(ish) dad are few and far between. So when I get a sliver of a chance, I have to capitalize. Having a few clubs and some shoes in my car makes it much easier to do so.

You’re probably wondering which 3 pairs I have with me right now. I’m glad you asked (I know you didn’t ask, but I’m going to tell you anyway).

NIKE Zoom Victory Pro 4

Is there any shoe that’s hotter right now than the Victory Pro 4 from NIKE? What I call the “Scottie” shoe is a current go-to in my rotation, so much so that I can’t bring myself to take them inside.

Time and time again, I find myself wanting to play in this pair. So time and time again, this is the first pair that comes out of my car trunk and onto my feet.

They’re comfortable, have great traction and, much to my dismay, they’re very stable too (which is odd, considering they’re worn by the golfer with perhaps the most funky footwear EVER).

Don’t sleep on this pair. Seriously, just grab some.

adidas TOUR360

You knew this one was coming. This pair has remained in my car since I spoke with Collin Morikawa about them back in January of 2024.

Nearly 18 months later, there are few shoes if any I would pick over this pair. The dual-foam midsole is heavenly to walk in, and the lockdown on any shoe in the TOUR360 heritage is always superb.

This is the longest-tenured member of my golf shoe rotation, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

PUMA PHANTOMCAT Nitro Sport

This one is a definite sleeper.

I love the knit upper. I love the colorway. Heck, there’s a lot of love about this pair that’s getting no love from anyone on the internet.

It’s quickly become my go-to shoe if I decide to stop on my way home for a bucket of balls. No lie, it’s one of the more underrated shoes that I own. The Nitro foam is super comfy and the weird non-spiked spikes are actually really good.

Always heard never leave running shoes in your car as temperature swings can do a number on the midsole foam.

I also keep three pair in my car. Gel Kayano Ace 2, Nike TW14, and Ecco Cool 18 GTX. The Ecco’s are probably my favorite overall and I’m on the lookout for more since they don’t make them anymore. TW14 have the best stability of the bunch, but the Ecco are a close second with better comfort and the built in sockliner is magic.

I have three pairs of TOUR360s that I rotate between. Nothing else comes close.

That knit upper would look ugly pretty fast if I was wearing them 😬 Even with other white shoes, at least you can wipe them off. I’m going to have to try on those Nikes. Glad to hear you still like them. And Nikes have always fit me well over the years.

Currently have found that the G-ForeGallivan2R TPU are even MORE comfortable than TRUE when ordered in WIDE.
Standard last has an excessively narrow forefoot. They are absolutely the coolest, best looking and easy to clean shoes I have ever owned.

I usually bring 2 pair with me, one mesh and one waterproof. I own 5 pairs of golf shoes (Skechers, FootJoy and Callaway) and rotate through them.
