If Distance Is All You Care About: Here Are The 10 Longest Drivers Of 2026

Let’s be honest.

When a new driver launches, the first thing most golfers want to know isn’t MOI or CG location.

It’s how far does it go?

Distance is still the most addictive part of the game. It doesn’t matter if you’re scratch or trying to break 100. Watching one fly five yards past your normal landing spot never gets old. So if you’re in this strictly for the yards, here are the 10 longest drivers from the 2026 MyGolfSpy driver test, ranked by average total distance.

The 10 longest drivers of 2026 (Ranked by total distance)

DriverAvg. Total Distance (yards)Distance ScoreMGS Overall Score
Callaway Quantum Max255.219.59.1
Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond254.379.49.1
Callaway Quantum Max D253.979.48.8
TaylorMade Qi4D LS253.659.18.9
TaylorMade Qi4D253.299.39.2
Wilson DYNAPWR LS253.179.08.3
Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond Max252.779.28.9
Vice Golf VGD01+252.729.08.4
Titleist GT4252.659.28.6
Titleist GT3252.529.48.8

For our distance category, we evaluate carry distance and total yards. That’s why you may see slight differences between the raw total yardage ranking and the distance score. The score reflects the combined performance of carry and total distance.

The longest driver wasn’t the fastest

It’s easy to assume the longest driver must also produce the highest ball speed. This year, the Callaway Quantum Max had a ball speed about two mph slower than the Vice Golf VGD01 but had lmore total distance.

The Quantum Max is efficient. Strong carry (238.93 yards) paired with lower spin helped it maximize total distance. The VGD01+ had slightly more spin (2,344 rpm) which limited rollout gains.

Distance versus forgiveness: Who gives you both?

Distance-only drivers often sacrifice forgiveness. We see the same thing every year with drivers that do a great job of maximizing distance falling off a bit when it comes to forgiveness.

Two drivers that offered strong distance and forgiveness were:

Here are some that struggled:

If you’re a consistent ball striker, the forgiveness score may not be something you need to worry about.

What does distance cost in 2026?

Most of the longest drivers in 2026 sit in the premium tier. Here’s what you’re typically looking at in U.S. retail pricing:

Pricing this year is a little easier for distance-seeking golfers with the Titleist, Vice and Wilson drivers in the lineup. When you look at overall scoring, the premium Callaway models have higher overall scores than some of the clubs that are more distance-only options.

      and–pls explain these discrepancies:
      GT 3 2025 total distance 250.89, distance score 9.5—>2026 total distance 252.52,
      GT 4 2025 total distance 251.95, distance score 9.8—->2026 total distance 252.65
So-did these 2 unchanged drivers get hotter while sitting in the closet?
(and fyi not shown in 2026 2025 GT 2 total distance 252.02, distance score 9.8)

Even though it is a 2025 Driver, the Titleist GT2 is longer than GT3 and GT4 (and is now priced $200 lower) –IMHO it is a “carryover” into 2026 and should have been included in this ranking–as usual your data creates more confusion than fact.

What happened to Titleist GT2. Last year testing, it was longest driver in test, longer than GT3 and GT4, now it is nowhere to be found, and GT3 and 4 are 9th and10th on the list?

What is the reasonable driver spin for amateurs. I have the GT3, my swing speed is 90 at best. My drives take off looking great. But drop off quickly. I assume this is spin.

Can you compare the 2026 drivers with the 2025 drivers? I think that list would be super helpful! Thanks!

Can you help me understand your scoring? How does the score not reflect the distance you show? There are some drivers with greater distance by yards, but lower distance scores.
