I’m A Golf Style Expert: Here Are Five Pieces of Apparel You Need To Get Your Season Started Off Right

With the conclusion of the Masters in the books, that means that it’s golf season pretty much everywhere in the United States. As clubs and courses open back up, I’m of the belief that it’s important to dress for success. If you want to take 5-10 shots off your game this season, dress the part. Part of the beauty of golf is the thrill of the chase—getting a fraction of a percent better. The confidence in our games and the belief that we’re going to keep improving keeps us coming back. When we put even a fraction of the effort that we put into improving our games into how we dress, I guarantee you’ll start to feel better on the course. As the old adage goes: look good, feel good, play good. Here are five pieces you can buy right now to help you get your season started on the right foot and looking great.

1. Holderness & Bourne – The Springer Shirt

I hold Holderness & Bourne’s polos in extremely high regard. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you want an absolutely premium polo, look no further than Holderness & Bourne. While expensive at $118, the Springer is quickly working its way to becoming my favorite golf polo. This is a shirt that washes and dries extremely well and after numerous uses, looks and feels brand new.
