Is This PING’s Most Underrated Product?

When was the last time you perused PING’s website?

It still blows my mind that you can’t buy PING clubs from PING. Award-winning bags? Sure. Accessories and gloves? You betcha.

One of the things I didn’t know that PING made (or sold) was clothing. Specifically, their new Karsten Collection looks really nice. So I figured it’d give it a go. All of the other products PING makes are solid. So why would the clothing be any different?

After spending some time with the Karsten Collection from PING, I can definitively say that the Phoenix-based brand knows how to make a mean polo. I’m still gawking at the $99 pricetag (though, that’s fairly competitive in today’s market), but the Barraccuda Polo was everything I want in a polo. Exceptionally soft. Great fit. Solid collar structure.

Well done, PING.

Never have I ever thought about PING as an apparel company. Maybe that was a mistake on my part. The Karsten Apparel Collection might be the most underrated thing that PING sells.

99 bucks for a polo shirt is throwing your money away. You can get very nice polos for less than 30 bucks on numerous web sites. Then, after a few shirt buys, you can throw your money away on clubs!
