Another day, another seemingly out-of-nowhere golf collaboration.
The good news, however, is that this one involves neither peanut butter nor jelly.
Just a good old-fashioned reggae groove.
Meet the Bob Marley inspired line of golf bags from the gang at Sunday Golf, for the Rasta-inspired Buffalo Golfer in all of us.
Can’t speak for you but this one makes me want to stir it up.

Sunday Golf x Bob Marley: No Bogey, No Cry
Sunday Golf is honoring the legendary reggae icon and reggae life in general with this limited-edition golf bag collection, officially licensed through the Marley family’s Marley Merchandising LLC.
“Bob Marley’s music and legacy really speak to the core identity of Sunday Golf – that enjoying the human experience and having fun is what life’s all about,” says Sunday Golf Co-Founder and CEO Ronan Galvin. “Like Bob’s legendary songs, these bags are meant to be enjoyed by everyone.”
“Music and golf are all about good vibes and feel,” adds Marley’s son Rohan. “The Sunday Golf team created bags that don’t just carry your clubs, but carry a mindset of individuality and freedom that my father celebrated in his music.”

Three Little Birdies
Don’t worry ‘bout a thing, friends. Unlike a certain PB&J limited edition we discussed yesterday, this Bob Marley collection is priced to move. It features three different Sunday Golf bags in reggae-inspired designs.
The Loma Par 3 bag in Bob Marley Black is an all-black bag with Rasta-striped zipper pulls. “One Love” is embroidered on the side pocket, along with the Marley lion and Bob Marley’s signature. It sells for a very reasonable $139.99.
The Marley Collection also includes the Ryder full-sized stand bag in Bob Marley Camo and Bob Marley Olive/Hemp, because of course it does. The Camo model features a custom camo print with roaming Marley lions. The Olive/Hemp model features a cream-colored side panel. Both feature plenty of Rasta-striped trim.

They are selling for $324.99.
Then there’s the Big Rig cart bag. It also comes in the Marly Camo and Marley Olive/Hemp colorways, and both are loaded with green, gold and red features. The Bob Marley Big Rig sells for $389.99.
I shot the golf bag…
If you’re getting the sense that golf companies are diving into pop culture collabs more and more these days, well, you’re correct. We’ve seen a noticeable increase in these limited-edition partnerships this year, and I think the reasoning is two-fold.
First, they’re fun. Sure, a reggae-inspired golf bag or a peanut butter and jelly putter might not be for everyone, but they are for someone. Golf, lest we forget, is a game. And games are supposed to be fun. If sporting a Rastafarian-inspired golf bag makes you happy and expresses your love of reggae, go for it. If it’s not your bag, then it’s not your bag. There’s no need to get harsh over someone else’s ganja.
Look at what happened to Sheriff John Brown.

The second reason these limited-edition partnerships are growing is even simpler: They work. People like them, and they’re willing to buy them. Frankly, we’re not at all shocked that the L.A.B. Golf limited-edition Uncrustables putters have already sold out, even at $2,000 a pop. And I have no doubt L.A.B. will have another limited-edition offering soon, followed by another and another.
And reggae might be the perfect music for the golf course. It’s not loud, it’s very smooth and the tempo is just right for a nice, fluid golf swing.
“There’s no better way to experience the game,” says Rohan Marley, “than when you pair it with good music and friends.”
