2011 Ping Precision Milled Putters

In my opinion one of the best milled putter series not only for the milling work but also the soundness of the designs were the Ping Redwood putters.  And it looks like more of the same with the newest series of Ping putters…the Ping Precision Milled line-up.  From what we have heard and seen it looks like there will be 7 putters in the new stable of milled putters from Ping.  We should be getting more info later today and will update this as soon as we do.

      I hope they have them in black. I think they would look sick all black with “anser” in red. Especially with that sweet head cover too.

      Look nice but could be an issue with glare? Are they not doing a satin version? Being honest I’m perfectly happy with my Redwood and not sure it can be improved. Looks a good option for someone looking for a high quality putter though.

      Bills right – for all their fancy marketing and naming,& I love Scotty’s branding, I believe if its a heel-toe weighted putter your after, buy an original manufacturers version.

      NB The head cover is great – more colours & personalisation please PING

      The brand was named for the sound, so the sound slot re-introduction is great. The putter series was named as it was the anser for off centre hits.

      Your not a car buff if you’ve not owned an Alfa, & your not a golf nut until you’ve owned a Ping blade.
      Buy one and enjoy

      Finally something Karsten would be proud of. I will say again if it were not for Karsten there would be no game improvement irons, no balanced putters or many other golf products. It may be a bit of an exaggeration but I wish just once Scotty Cameron or Bettinardi would just stand up and say “Thank you Karsten” Nice job Ping on your new putters.

      Pretty sure Karsten made the Anser model the most popular putter in the world. Scotty just renamed it the Newport. “Ping copying Scotty Camerons LMAO!

      Are you completely mad? Scotty Cameron was the putter designer for Mizuno and left them in 1992 because Mizuno would not let him produce an Anser style putter. Karsten Solheim’s Ping Anser putter became well known in 1967. Cameron produced his Anser style putter in 1993.

      So guess again as far as who is copying who, you stupid dil.

      Finally!! Ping brings a clean putter without anything stuck to it (medallions). Since these are milled (hopefully from a solid block of 303 stainless) they should be much heavier than the cast models. 7 variations on the Anser head…hopefully this means they are going to offer some 1/2 shaft offsets and numerous hosel configurations??

      Like all Ping putters and golf equipment—TOO light and no feel—-Golf Instructors love Ping because their clubs help students learn how to cast the club at the top because they can’t feel it——-G20 Driver looks like a good driver for hitting the ball straight up—–no doubt it will have a shaft that is worth upwards of 2-3 dollars—–Still trying to manufacture feel ————

      I get what you’re saying. I just think 7 variations on the Anser theme is a bit much. I thought the Anser was the line name like the Redwood’s they’re replacing. They weren’t all Anser style models were they? I’m all for these putters as they look fantastic but we haven’t had a some of the classic PING models made out of one material for a while now especially high-end models.
