V2: The New & Improved Rapture
Ping lovers are lighting up this weekend at the PGA Championship with speculation over the new Ping Rapture line being released. And we did not have to wait long before a source sent in a picture of what the driver will look like.
New Fatures: Thinner Crown and Tungsten Weighting
Pictured above is the new Ping Rapture V2 Driver. The latest reports now indicate that the Rapture V2 Driver will feature Ping’s thinnest crown ever produced and will also have Tungsten weighting in both the heel and toe (6 grams in toe & 4 grams in heel). Color patterns are similar to the original Rapture. You can expect a full line up for the new and improved 2009 Rapture line…including fairway woods and hybrids. And the new Ping iWi putter line will be coming soon as well…so be on the look out at MyGolfSpy.
