A $288 golf shoe and an $80 golf shoe finished less than two points apart in our 2026 spikeless testing.
That’s a huge gap in price but not a ton in performance. So we put every spikeless shoe we tested this year on one chart, with score on one side and price on the other, to see which ones are worth your money.
How to read the chart
Every dot is one shoe. The further right it sits, the higher it scored. The higher up it sits, the more it costs.
The diagonal line shows what you’d typically pay at each score. Shoes below the line cost less than you’d expect. Shoes above it cost more.
Price vs. Value: 2026 Spikeless Golf Shoes
Every dot is a spikeless shoe we tested in 2026. Hover or tap a dot to see the shoe, its score and its list price.

The diagonal line is the trend: the price you would expect at each score. The dashed lines mark the 2026 average price and average score. Trend and averages cover all 31 shoes. Prices are list prices as of October 30, 2026.

We also marked the 2026 averages: a score of 92.7 and a price of $161. The shaded corner is where you want to be with shoes that cost less than average and score higher than average.
You’ll also notice the line is pretty flat. Across these 31 shoes, a higher price didn’t reliably mean a higher score. We’ve seen that same thing throughout other categories this year, especially putters.
High price, high score
Eight shoes cost more than average and scored higher than average. Some are worth it and some are just expensive. You have to decide where to draw that line.
Worth the extra money
FootJoy Pro/SL ($185, 98.5): The best score of the year. Our testers called it the best-fitting shoe we tried.
Eight shoes cost more than average and scored lower than average. You’re paying more and getting less.
ECCO Street Vibe ($170, 83.5) and ECCO S-Casual ($179, 83.5): The lowest scores of the year, with weak traction. The ECCO Biom C5 scored 95 so it’s not the entire Ecco brand that had value issues.
Nine shoes cost less than $161 and scored higher than 92.7. Two of them stand out.
Skechers Pure SI ($130, 97.25). It tied for the second-best score of all 31 shoes behind only the FootJoy Pro/SL ($185, 98.5). It’s very comfortable and does a great job keeping water out. If you swing really hard, the traction isn’t quite top-tier.
Reebok Nano Golf ($79.99, 94.75). It costs about half the average price and still scored above average. Testers said it feels more like a running shoe than a golf shoe and it’s just as stable as the Pure SI. The trade-offs are waterproofing and cleanup. The woven upper picks up dirt.
Price is a weak guide in 2026. If you want the best spikeless shoe we tested, it’s the FootJoy Pro/SL ($185, 98.5). If you want nearly the same performance for less, the Skechers Pure SI ($130, 97.25) is the one to buy and if you’re shopping around $100, the Reebok Nano ($79.99, 94.75) is hard to beat.

Informative article. But I always chuckle when I read that a golf shoe is wearable “off the course”. OK, maybe in the bar at the “19th hole”, but if you’re wearing golf shoes to hang out, to socialize, to hang out ‘with the fellas’, you’re getting laughed out of existence.
Unless I’m at the range of inside on a simulator, I don’t do spikeless. My home course plays wet & I found I slipped to much.
