Best Spikeless Golf Shoes Under $100

Think it’s impossible to find good spikeless golf shoes for under $100? While options at that price point can be limited, it’s not out of the question. We’ve pulled together the best spikeless golf shoes under $100. We featured top performers from our 2024 and 2025 testing to give you enough options. You might not always get the newest releases when you’re on a budget but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice performance.

Best spikeless golf shoe under $100: Skechers GO GOLF Flight

Rated the best value shoe of 2025, the Skechers GO GOLF Flight might be the most comfortable golf shoe under $100 that we have ever tested. The Slip In technology and the Heel Pillow that Skechers uses will lock your foot in place.

The GO GOLF Flight is surprisingly stable for a shoe that feels this soft. The one drawback is the traction. It’s good for casual rounds. You may want something else if you play in tournament situations, have an aggressive swing or walk early in the morning when the grass is wet.

New Balance Fresh Foam Contend V2

The New Balance Fresh Foam Contend V2 was featured in our 2025 spikeless test. It ranked 16th out of 31 total shoes tested. The Fresh Foam Contend V2 has great comfort but won’t lead in traction or stability.

If you like the classic look of a New Balance sneaker, this is one to try. It offers middle-of-the-pack performance for less than $100 which is a good value.

Skechers GO GOLF Max 3

The Skechers GO GOLF Max 3 was the best value shoe of 2024. It’s still a great option if you can find one in your size.

For the price, the Max 3 does a great job of balancing comfort and grip. It comes in two different color patterns. Our testers found the Max 3 good for players who want a lightweight feel. It also scored better in traction than the GO GOLF Flight from 2025.

Skechers GO GOLF Max 2 Rover Slip-Ins

The Skechers GO GOLF Max 2 Rover Slip-Ins were another option from 2024. These finished in the middle of the pack for 2024 but they did win the award for most comfortable shoe. Sometimes, when you get extra comfort from a shoe, you lose a little stability and that was the case with the Rover Slip-Ins.

If you are a faster swing speed serious golfer, this wouldn’t be your shoe.

FootJoy Fuel

The FootJoy Fuel finished just outside the top five in 2024. Its original price was $130 but the current price is just under $100. The Fuel is a sporty-looking shoe with high marks for comfort and traction.

It fell off a little in stability but if you want a FootJoy shoe for less than $100, this is a good one.

adidas S2G SL Leather

The adidas S2G SL Leather was tested in 2024. It wasn’t a top choice but it was pretty comfortable and had a good leather upper. Testers noted a springy feel in the toe and decent overall performance across the board. It wasn’t the best adidas shoe of the test but it’s an option for value shoppers.

If you can spend a little more . . .

If your budget is truly $100, the six golf shoes above give you some great options. However, if you can spend $20-$30 more, it may be worth looking at the Skechers GO GOLF Elite 6, the most comfortable spikeless golf shoes of 2025 which finished fifth overall.

The GO GOLF Elite 6’s traction and stability weren’t perfect but they were certainly in the range to make this a well-rounded option for less than $130.

Final thoughts

We love a good deal as much as anyone but be aware of “cheap” golf shoes. The key you want to look for is value. What shoes perform but also fit within your price range? For more details of our 2025 golf shoe testing, check out these results:

With a big bunion on outside of foot, most of the really good shoes don’t come close to fitting. Sketchers and New Balance have been my go to shoe. Recently FitVille shoes have been a good fit. A few Callaway and Footjoy shoes fit ok. But most, even wide sizes, are made for looks, narrow toe boxes.

Shoes have changed a lot. When I was younger (damn that was long ago) a size 8 d was my size, the same for all brands. Now, I wear anything from 9.5 xw to 11.5 w. Makes buying shoes on line a challenge.

Thanks for the research, great info. Sketchers and New Balance fit well, are comfortable to walk in, waterproof (mostly) and very reasonably priced.

It would be nice to get an article about the best golf shoes available in a size 15. With only one on this list, the pickings are indeed slim.

I have a pair of the Sketchers GO GOLF Max 3 in the color scheme from the photo in the article. I purchased them with low expectations, but they are probably my favorite pair at the moment. Super comfy and the grip is great. On soft days I almost feel a little bad as the mini-spikes tend to leave more noticeable marks on greens than most golf shoes today (even spiked versions), but that’s also why the grip is so good.
