adidas Codechaos 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes

In our 2025 spiked golf shoe testing, adidas earned the top spot yet again with the TOUR360. However, the TOUR360 golf shoe is not the only one we tested. Other options, especially spikeless ones, are worth considering. Below, you’ll find four standout models from adidas based on our 2025 golf shoe test. Check out which one could be a good fit for you.

adidas TOUR360 ‘24 – Best overall spiked

The adidas TOUR360 is the best overall spiked golf shoe in 2025. It does a great job of maintaining stability without sacrificing comfort. This is a premium shoe with waterproof technology built to hold up over time.

If you need consistent traction and support and take your golf gear and accessories seriously, this is probably the adidas shoe you’ll want to consider.

Buy this if:

You prioritize stability and traction and want the best spiked shoe of 2025.

Comfort still matters to you.

Don’t buy this if:

❌ You have notably wide feet. The TOUR360 is narrow, especially in the toe box.

You’re on a budget.

adidas Adizero ZG – High-traction performer

The adidas Adizero ZG is a spikeless shoe known for having great traction. It finished fourth overall in the spikeless golf shoe test with a total score of 96.6.

The Adizero ZG is lightweight and an ideal choice for players who want the benefits of a spikeless shoe without having to sacrifice traction.

Buy this if:

You want exceptional traction but don’t want to switch to a spiked golf shoe.

A balanced mix of comfort and stability is a good fit for your game.

Don’t buy this if:

❌ You prefer a more traditional golf shoe with a heavier design.

adidas CodeChaos 25 – Great option for bad weather

The adidas CodeChaos 25 had some of the best ratings for golfers who play in poor weather conditions. The water protection and strong grip on the shoe’s base help you play in various weather. The CodeChaos 25 is a more expensive spikeless option from adidas so keep that in mind if you’re on a budget.

Buy this if:

You keep your tee time even if the weather isn’t great.

You like a golf shoe with a little style and tend to go more trendy than traditional.

Don’t buy this if:

❌ You want a classic leather look. The CodeChaos 25 is more sporty than classic.

❌Comfort is key. The comfort rating in other adidas shoes was higher.

adidas MC80 – Most comfortable adidas shoe

The adidas MC80 is the most comfortable adidas shoe we tested in 2025. If comfort is your No. 1 priority, the MC80 is for you. It scored 44.1 out of 45 in the testing.

While the MC80 wasn’t unstable, it’s not the best adidas golf shoe for stability. Consider the TOUR360 or even the Adizero ZG as an alternative.

Buy this if:

Your priority in finding a golf shoe is comfort.

Don’t buy this if:

❌ You are looking for maximum traction and stability.

adidas versus the competition

Now that we’ve looked at how adidas did specifically, here’s how it compared to other brands in our 2025 shoe testing.

Top-tier scores in comfort and stability: adidas shoes like the TOUR360 ’24 and MC80 consistently rank near the top for comfort (44+ out of 45) and stability (28+ out of 30).

Width options: Some adidas models (especially the TOUR360 ’24) run a bit narrow so golfers with wide feet might struggle to find a perfect fit.

Price points: Many top-tier adidas models come with premium price tags. Budget-minded golfers may need to look toward discounted or older models for better savings. Skechers tends to offer lower-priced shoes with some similar benefits.

Not always the ‘Best of the Best’ in a single category: In strict head-to-head comparisons, a few competitor brands (like Payntr or Skechers in certain tests) might edge out adidas in specific categories (for example, ultimate comfort or the absolute highest traction).

Which adidas golf shoes should you buy?

Putting all this information together, here are a few tips to help you decide which adidas golf shoe is best for you.

  • If you want the ultimate in performance and stability: Pick the TOUR360 ’24.
  • If you need traction but don’t want to sacrifice comfort: Adizero ZG won’t let you down.
  • If you’re going to play rain or shine: CodeChaos 25 is your go-to.
  • If you need comfort: The MC80 offers the most cushioned feel in adidas’ 2025 lineup.

I’m a long time MGS reader. I’m really tired of reading articles that are focused on men’s golf and gear, and don’t give equal time and testing to women’s game and gear. Where’s the content for women? Does MGS expect women to extrapolate what would work for them by reading articles on men’s gear? Please don’t assume that women don’t want or need as much info about golf and gear as our male counterparts. We also spend a lot of money to play the game, take golf trips, replace our grips, get fitted for clubs, and buy clothing. Give women more content that contains technical information, and stop writing, reviewing and promoting golf and gear for women like we just accept ladies shafts and pink gloves because they’re pretty.

It is worth noting that the Adidas TOUR360 does have wide sizes as an option in some colorways.
