Man these putters are sexy. I had to come back for another look. =) I love my Red X2, but I would consider kicking it to the curb for a Slotline with a center shaft.

That 693 is sharp… I figured when Slotline surfaced again, they must have been up to something good.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I knew we had a winner, but reading your comments definitely confirms our intial thoughts. I would also like to mention that these feel, roll and sound even better than they look! I am really excited to take all of these models with me next week to the Champions event in Conover, NC. Thanks again for the comments, please help spread the word that Slotline is back!

I like the 691 and the 693 mid mallet. I’ve always been an anser-style kind of guy, which is why the plumber’s neck 691… but the 693 is really a beauty as well. Clean lines, love the insert as I said before, and it just says to me, “I’M A GOOD PUTTER, BUY ME!” Confidence is the name of the game in putting, and if you’ve got a putter you love, you’ll putt so much better. Love it. Thanks, MGS.

i like the 693 mid-mallet…just the looks of the face appeal to me….i putted lights out for years with a over-size slotline….i also bought a cannon barrel type of putter that works great on super fast greens that slotline sold for a while.

Nice putters-number 1for me. I would say what is the USP? Nothing different to a Cameron, a PING or Yes! putter really. To break the market something different is needed-don’t see what it is here! Not to say they aren’t great putters

I used to own a one of the older models back in the early 1990’s and in Scotland, Slotline used to be a well respected brand. The problem has always been their terrible looks but these new sticks look awesome!

      It’s a difficult choice but I’d go for the 693, 691 then 682.

All three of these putters have very clean lines and look super sleek. I really like the looks of the 693 when viewed front to back it doesn’t even look like a mallet.

If I had to pick one, the mid-mallet. Their putters never did anything for me. The alignment aid is too small. I don’t see a copper line on an 1/8″ notch being an improvement.

I’ve tryed out one of the new putters coming out next year from the Slotline test lab and it has a great stability, grip and feel. BagBoy has purchased the Slotline Brand and is planning on kicking it into high gear again.

I tried out another model that is not coming out until next spring that came straight from their testing labs. My company http://PlayOnGolf.com then applied to be a wholesale club distributor and was approved after a long process. All i can say is, that my other company I’m representing, Bag Boy, has 6 well selling lines of equipment has purchased Slotline and is commited to bring back success. The putter i used had excellent balance, i liked the grip and weighting. It performed better than my long time favorite putter.

The SSi-693 mid-mallet is based on one of my favourite putter designs of all. These have a nice high-end look to them. Hopefully Slotline will get some serious tour coverage over the next few months.

I’ve never seen a Slotline putter that I wanted to run out and buy right away…. until now. Looks absolutely stunning. Love the insert look, and the use of milled aluminum is a vast improvement over what Taylormade did with their Rossa line.

      Beautiful!

Yeah I don’t think the new Taylormade cast putters are very good at all. They go for the wow factor to get attention instead of concentrating on clean lines and functionality.

I must say that these protos lo0ok sharp and clean! I never really think of Slotline when I think of putters. They aren’t the first name that comes to mind, but all three of these models seem as if they surely could change that. With that being said I must say I favor the 693 over the other two.

I agree…a lot of people don’t think about Slotline when buying a putter. But with the man behind the designs and with BagBoy buying them I think you will see a lot more of them and they will become a more household name pretty soon.
