Actually It’sThe R9 Max…But Only Like 6 More TM Drivers Left Until The R11
Ok…Ok…this might not be the actual Taylormade R11 driver pictured (below)…but just give them a couple more months…lol. What you see here is called the Taylormade R9 Max…and you can expect to see it sometime in June. I mean did you honestly think that they made the regular R9 only 420cc’s for no reason. Of course not.
They were just waiting for the buzz to die down a little on the original R9 and then they would bring out the 460cc model to peak your interest a little more. So I am sure you are already thinking…what the hell is the difference. Well Taylormade would like you to think that this is the most amazing, astonishing, game altering driver ever created (didn’t they just say that like 2 months ago?) in hopes that you would think that the R9 Max is so much better then the R9 original…although other then 40cc’s in size and a couple minor options they are nearly identical.
Taylormade R9 & R9 Max (Differences)
R9 Max -460cc
R9 – 420cc
R9 Max -One back weight port
R9 – Three weight ports
R9 Max – Face angle adjustable by 3°
R9 – Face angle adjustable by 2°
R9 Max – Loft adjustable by 1.5°
R9 – Loft adjustable by 1°
R9 Max – 45.5″ standard length
R9 – 45″ standard length
P.S.
Don’t forget to check back tomorrow…you never know we might actually have pics of the R11. And oh yeah later today we will be showing “Part 2 – How To Build A Putting Green in 2 Days!”.

Stupid. Only a big clunky adjustable weight in the back over the regular r9 460. You know you can take the weight on the r9 460 out with heat and snap needle pliers and add tungsten to it. That way it is sleeker than the max and it will weigh in at a D4 with a 44 inch shaft such as the Diamana Whiteboard. No amatuer should be playing with a 45.5 inch shaft. The pros don’t even play with stuff that long! HA!

I agree with you on the length JF…45.5 is much too long for the average golfer. Humans have not evolved to be taller in the last ten years although clubs have.
