Testers Wanted – Callaway Paradym Irons

This year, Callaway dropped the Paradym lineup which includes the Paradym and Paradym X irons.

The first fits into the “player’s distance” category. The X is for those looking at a game-improvement set.

In both, we’re getting an AI-designed Face Cup, urethane microspheres and a lot of tungsten. And just for fun, Callaway threw in something new: a forged 455 stainless steel face.

As iron testing continues in the MyGolfSpy Lab, it’s important that we hear from our loyal readers.

Can we grab your feedback?

It would be great to be a “tester”, never did anything like that before. I’m your average amature golfer. I have great to good and not so good rounds. I enjoy working on my game and get out to the course as much as I can. I’m a decent ball striker, and pretty consistent with my irons. Thanks!

afford drugs”. Sounds bad but always get a laugh among them. I would love to test your irons and hopefully show them how generous the game can be to one through programs like this…

I have a high swing speed and a decent ball striker that uses mizuno 225s. I’ve played the mavrik pro line and can admit Callaway makes a great iron, I’m curious to see how these stack up to my old mavriks and these 225s.

I will be very honest regarding their forgiveness, I play a 10 handicap.

Callaway is a premier golf club manufacturers who has consistently designed and produced golf clubs that have out-performed the competition. From what I have read about the PARADYM IRONS, I believe they may be game changers in the truest sense. The forged 455 stainless steel face should provide superior feedback and make the shot feel buttery smooth! I hope to have an opportunity to try them on the course in the very near future!

First of all I enjoy reading reviews from “Mygolfspy” mainly because I feel you get the truth about how people actually feel about golf equipment! I just turned 70 and I’m a 9 handicap. I’ve been playing Miura 9003 irons for the past 10 years and feel that I’ve lost distance this past year and am in the market for new irons. The Callaway Paradym irons appear to be the type of irons that could work for me! My only dilemma would be which Paradym model would work best for me. Having the opportunity to play with the “Player Distance” irons along side with the “Game Improvement X” irons would be awesome!!! Thank you for the opportunity!!!!

Definitely going to pass on the offer to test these. Do not like Callaway products and the back of those irons look cheap, like something you would have seen if K-Mart was making clubs. So for the nasty response, just really do not like Callaway irons and the design of these.

I am a 5.5 handicap index player, and play alternetly with the Gallaway x14 and a Taylor made Bubble shaft set, both fitted with factory fitted graphite shafts, the distance reached per club is vertually the same per different set, but the launch angle on the Gallaways is much higher, the spun action on the Gallawy clubs with for instance a Tit Pro Vi ball is greater than with other clubs. I do reside in South Africa snc play 4 -5 games a week, and would be interrested testing the new Paradym club

I’d be more than happy to test the Paradym set of irons. I’m currently using Titleist AP300 having used Callaway Diablo before that. Last year my hndcp dropped to it’s best ever 8.9 but has risen back into double digits. Testing the non-X set would let me evaluate if I am getting good enough to be truly past the improvement iron classification.
Presently using an extra stiff shaft, and golfing 3+ times a week..` Our course is set to open on April 8 so these would get a prompt workout.

      Thanks.

The irons look quite nice and whilst I’m like everyone else i.e happy for more distance, these category irons don’t usually come up in my “let’s try them out” bracket. However the engineer in me is always intrigued with new stuff and what it could offer me, plus the FOMO just because it’s not my usual route. So whilst I’d jump and hope to be picked since I’m in the UK I’m a no goer. Good luck to those testers that get these and I’ll tune in for the reviews
