There’s always something new in golf. New clubs, new apparel, new shoes, new bags and the occasional product that comes completely out of left field. Rather than cover every launch with a standalone story, This Week in Golf Gear is a quick look at the new releases, collaborations and products that caught our eye.

Srixon ZXi Irons

Srixon is getting an early jump on 2027 with its new ZXi iron lineup, and there’s quite a bit to unpack.

The updated ZXi7 and ZXi5 return alongside the new ZXi5+, which slots into the player’s-distance category with a compact profile, stronger lofts and some seriously impressive early ball-speed numbers. Srixon has also updated the ZXiU utility iron. As John outlined in our full breakdown, Srixon is leaning harder than ever into its Japanese heritage and the fact that its irons are forged by Endo, one of the most respected forging houses in the world.

Feel has always been one of Srixon’s strengths. The new lineup doubles down on that while giving golfers more separation between models than before. If the early numbers on the ZXi5+ are any indication, that may be the one to keep a particularly close eye on.

Sun Mountain TQR Waxed Canvas Stand Bag

There are few things I love more than a beautiful waxed canvas golf bag, and the new Sun Mountain TQR Stand Bag more than fits that bill.

Built from rugged 12-ounce waxed canvas, the TQR has exactly the kind of old-school character I want in a golf bag. The material will naturally develop a patina over time, while the bronze hardware should age right along with it. That alone gives the bag considerably more personality than most modern stand bags.

It’s not all nostalgia, either. The TQR has a four-way top with full-length dividers, seven pockets and a dual-strap system, so underneath the heritage styling is still a fully functional modern stand bag. At 5.8 pounds, it’s not light by any means, but for something built from waxed canvas, I can live with that.

Sun Mountain calls it retro-modern. I’d call it exactly my kind of golf bag.

B. Draddy Solheim Cup Apparel

B. Draddy is dressing Team USA at the 2026 Solheim Cup, and like always, the apparel is excellent.

The lineup includes short- and long-sleeve polos, skirts, quarter-zips, vests, jackets and cashmere sweaters, with several looks drawing inspiration from past U.S. Solheim Cup teams. It also marks the tournament debut of B. Draddy’s new Draddy Sport for Women line, which is a significant stage for a brand-new women’s collection.

We think highly of B. Draddy’s apparel, and there’s a lot of that same understated, classic styling here. These are excellent.

ECCO BIOM® C5 Premium shoes

ECCO went all-in on the new BIOM C5 Premium, and the result is one of the most technically loaded golf shoes of the year.

The upper uses ECCO’s own Performance Leather, while GORE-TEX SURROUND waterproofing is designed to keep your feet dry without sacrificing breathability. You also get ECCO’s BIOM Natural Motion platform, FLUIDFORM construction and E-TTS outsole, all aimed at improving comfort, stability and traction. The BOA version even gets an upgraded aluminum dial.

At $300, these are undeniably expensive, but ECCO has never really been shy about operating at the premium end of the footwear market. If you want one of the brand’s most feature-heavy golf shoes to date, look no further.

Tour Edge Exotics Milled Wedges

I’m with John on this one: these are easily the best-looking wedges Tour Edge has ever released.

More importantly, the new Exotics Milled wedges finally give Tour Edge a much more complete wedge story. They look substantially better, have less offset and feature three bounce options alongside the new TriGrind Sole, which combines a chamfered leading edge, flatter sole and substantial trailing-edge relief. The faces, grooves and sole details are also CNC-milled, while Tour Edge’s new SuperSpin grooves are packed closer together to help maintain more consistent spin, particularly when conditions get wet.

In an ever-increasingly expensive wedge market, these wedges are also priced attractively at $110. Considering the amount of technology here and just how much better these look than previous Tour Edge wedges, these are sure to catch fire.

PAYNTR CHEF RX RS

The new CHEF RX RS is Min Woo Lee’s signature shoe, and PAYNTR built it around the same thing that makes Lee so much fun to watch: speed.

As Connor detailed in his first look, the CHEF RX RS combines a full-grain leather upper with a knit tongue and bootie, PAYNTR’s PMXFOAM cushioning and PMXSpeed PLT propulsion plate. The idea is to give golfers the support and energy return needed for a powerful swing without sacrificing comfort or style.

This shoe is appropriately distinct for a signature shoe tied to one of the most recognizable personalities on Tour.
