Great stable shoe. Ridiculously long narrow toe area. Cowboy boots think these are too pointy.

Compared to other FJ models, you might need to go a half/size down and wider. I’m usually a 12 2-3E. Hyperflex Boa is a 12W no problem. In this shoe, I’m in 11.5 XW and it’s still too long and too narrow. I’m breaking them in & trying a shoe stretcher. They are stable, but I’d pick something else for a “Walking 36 at Bandon,” kind of trip. They seem waterproof. Haven’t seriously tested that. They are remarkably cool as in letting your foot sweat and heat leave.

TL;DR: Great shoe. Try before you buy, and you might need to size down.
