PXG 0311 XP GEN6

7.6 overall

The Bottom Line

PXG 0311 XP GEN6 is one of the hottest irons on the market. It is an iron that might be categorized as a player's distance by some. In our opinion, it is a game-improvement iron and fits this category more accurately. If you crave distance, this is worth considering. They offer tremendous value to those with a military or first responder background.

👍 Buy This If

You want a hot iron: Much like Wilson Dynapower, PXG 0311 XP GEN6 is incredibly long. It stands out as the second-longest game-improvement iron in testing. If there is one thing true about PXG’s game-improvement irons – they are always hot.

You serve in the military or are a first responder: PXG offers a significant discount to those with a military or first responder background. This is a great way to give back to those who serve. If this is you, check it out through their website.

👎 Don’t Buy This If

✖︎ You need accuracy and consistency: PXG 0311 XP GEN6 is long but it does not perform well for accuracy or forgiveness. It ranks towards the bottom for these scoring metrics. Much like Dynapower, we strongly recommend going through a professional fitting to improve accuracy, consistency and distance control.

I like these clubs, coming from a super high handicapper lol. As my game improves the clubs still perform really good. Even with the First responders discount, these clubs are up there in price, however its worth it, as long as you get fitted by PXG. My only concern is that I am getting better, My 7 iron went from 90 yards to 150 yards average, so do I get better clubs are stick with the ones that got me here?
