Sun Mountain KUBE Golf Travel Bag

2023

Sun Mountain KUBE Golf Travel Bag

90 overall

The Bottom Line

The Sun Mountain KUBE Travel Cover is as small as travel bags come. This is the ultimate portable golf travel bag.

Pros

The wheelbase is really solid and the formfactor is so small that you can store it anywhere. The hard shell exterior aids in protecting your golf clubs, too.

Cons

The midsection of the KUBE is fairly soft which can cause some bending and make it a little harder to roll around in some instances.

Callaway used to make a great bag for travel. It was similar to a weekend carry bag configuration in that the clubs were put directly in it. It fit perfectly in a golf cart with the top peeled back and secured. I used 8 clubs. More than adequate. I also stored one pair of shoes in the top which also acted as a buffer from damage. Made at least a dozen flights with no issues. Wished I hadn’t donated it.
