FootJoy Fuel Sport Golf Shoes Review

2023

FootJoy Fuel Sport Golf Shoes Review

8.4 overall

The Bottom Line

The Fuel Sport was one of 2023's most anticipated shoe. Delivery fell a tad short due to what felt like a cheap outer and little attention to the form of the foot. Performance in elements and traction scored highly - while comfort and overall production seemed to be a bit glazed over. Color ways were adaptable for any player, but design felt rushed and underproduced.

Pros

The Fuel Sport is one of the highest ranking shoes for playing in compromised conditions. Water and dirt beads off the shoe almost imediately. Excellent traction on mulitple different surfaces inluding artificial turf, rough, greenside and even damp, longer grass. Lightweight construction.

Cons

Extremely stiff construction with little give through the swing. The Fuel Sport is not for players seaking breathabliltiy or those with a wider foot.
