Testers Wanted – Maxfli Tour/Tour X Golf Balls

TESTERS WANTED

Plenty of golfers aren’t looking to spend $50 on a dozen golf balls. And in a perfect world, they’d pay less and retain all the performance of the higher-priced options.

Maxfli isn’t trying to win any market share battles with the industry leaders. But what it can offer golfers for around $35 a dozen (currently two for $60) is a lot of value for a ball that consistently bests more expensive models in performance and manufacturing consistency tests.

And unlike many balls made overseas by reputable third-party manufactures (Foremost, Nassau), a good bit of technology contained within the new balls is unique to Maxfli. The core formulation is exclusive to Maxfli as is the new high flexural modulus mantle. The cast urethane cover is softer than last time around, too, but otherwise, it’s the same 318-dimple pattern as last time around.

All that said, we’d like to get feedback from MyGolfSpy readers.

BECOME A TESTER

We’re looking for eight MyGolfSpy readers to test, review and keep two dozen Maxfli Tour/Tour X golf balls.

Head to the Maxfli Tour/Tour X testing thread in the forum to apply.

This testing opportunity is open golfers who live anywhere Maxfli products can be shipped.

I will test the daylights out of these balls. If I’m not playing I’m practicing. I occasionally devote from the ProV1, just out of curiosity. If there’s a better ball out there I’ll play it. I test balls for Titleist, and Taylormade. Very few golf balls I haven’t tried. +2 Hcp. Send em.

Wished I would have seen this three days ago I brought a dozen each of the new Maxfli Tour and Tour X golf balls from Golf Galaxy for total of $60 plus tax. I liked the old version of the Tour ball. as a cheaper version of the Pro V1 X and the Snell MTB X. Will start playing them soon to see if there has been any impovement. We will see the old versions you could get two dozen for $50.00.

Would love to test these. I prefer the cheaper ones in case you lise a few. I’m not good enough to buy pro V1s. Currently gaming the sugar balls. Actually pretty good and have held up nicely with the exception of 1 ball where the cover split after 1 hit. Played 2 whole rounds with a single ball and gotta say the durability for those are great. Would love to see a ball lab done on them.

recently bought 2 dozen of the tour x and its not the same ball- inconsistent launch heights- yesterday thursday the 17th of june played my first 6 holes with a snell mtbx and was 2 over after 6 holes- changed to maxfli tour x and went 4 over the next 3 holes-and shot a 52 on the back 9- it drove well but everything was a different height on every drive and iron shot-
