Testers Wanted – Spornia Hitting Net

For the second year in a row, California-based Spornia claimed a spot on the podium in our annual Best Golf Practice Net Buyer’s Guide.

In 2020, it was silver. This time around, gold.

We loved how easy the SPG-7 net was to set up and take down while maintaining a stable platform for both indoor and outdoor use. But, hey, that’s just us.

Pandemic or no pandemic, at home golf practice gear continues to strike a chord with golfers.

Here’s a chance to find out for yourself.

TESTERS WANTED

We’re looking for four MyGolfSpy readers to test and review a Spornia hitting net.

Head to the Spornia Testing Thread in the forum to apply.

This testing opportunity is open to golfers living anywhere Spornia products are available.

Would like to know if the smaller version of this net is as good. I am a retired Vet with not a lot of money and the smaller net is $179 which I could afford.

Hard to make it to the range with 3 little ones. Old ???? didn’t survive the northeast winter.

I would love to test this net, but I routinely hit a high ball and have learned that I had to add netting above the provided net (inside). Has anyone else had this issue either outdoors or indoors?

I been looking at nets for years. I got the money but never pull the trigger. I’ve never seen one that looks like this setup. I like the size.

My last one didn’t last through the winter months and the wind in the northeast.

It looks easy to install and use . It’s hot here in Arizona to go to the range and that would fit perfectly in my house.. Count on me if you need a tester.

I just hit the old balls I use up or find into the canyon behind my house… never liked nets. Like having my own driving range. Must have several thousand balls waiting to join those already there. All the “ball hawks” give me their junk finds. Never have come close to running out. Used to use my swing caddie until it was stolen at a driving range while I went to the can… Need to buy a new one.

It’s trash and the insides of golf balls contain toxic chemicals.

I’ve worked through 2 Izzo nets in 3 years. I’ve been thinking of buying the Sp-7. Love to give it a testing.

My only complaint with the Spornia net (had one about 6 months now) is the side extender pieces and their connection to the main net. It leaves plenty of space for an errant ball to squeeze through. I fixed it by tightly wrapping paracord all the way down, weaving it between the holes.

I’d love to try/demo this net, my golfing daddies in the neighborhood could try as well. This would give you/us a rang of opinions.

I like your website and write-ups. Would be great if you could take a look at the new and original putting game I invented- In Shape Golf. It’s fun for all ages and has broad appeal. Perhaps something to review as a holiday gift idea.
I’m a small business having launched on Nov 27, 2020. We sold hundreds of In Shape Golf putting games all over the country. It’s sometimes cold in Wisconsin. Don’t leave us out in the cold in regard to checking out In Shape Golf- A Putting Game. Glad to send you one.
