If you are a Titleist player and need to switch out some of your equipment in 2024, we have you covered. We tested hundreds of golf clubs this year and pulled the top Titleist results from each of our tests. If you are in the market for anything from a driver to a wedge produced by Titleist, these are the best Titleist golf clubs of 2024.
Drivers
The Titleist TSR3 performed best in the 2024 Best Golf Driver test. It ranked fourth overall, with strong forgiveness (consistency) and distance rankings. The GT drivers were not included in the 2024 test as they were not released when the testing took place.
We also broke our best golf driver test down by swing speed, looking for the best drivers for high, mid, and low swing speeds. For high-swing speed players, the TSR2 was the best, ranking 7th overall and being the runner-up for forgiveness.
In the mid-swing speed testing, the TSR3 was third best for forgiveness, and the TSR4 was fourth best overall for distance.
For low-swing speed players, the TSR3 was fifth best for distance, but the overall results for slower swing speed testing and the Titleist drivers were not the strongest.
Fairway woods
The Titleist GT2 and GT3 fairway woods made it into the best fairway wood testing. We tested 29 fairway woods; the GT2 finished 14th overall, and the GT3 finished 24th overall. In testing, both the GT3 and GT2 struggled with forgiveness. The GT3 did get a top ten for distance, finishing 9th, but that was the best stat we saw in the testing.
Hybrids
Titleist’s hybrid performance was slightly better than the fairway wood. The Titleist TSR3 hybrid took 7th place overall out of 23 hybrids tested in 2024. It came up a little short in the distance category but performed well in accuracy and forgiveness.
We also tested the TSR2, which took 12th place. It’s longer than the TSR3 but not as forgiving or accurate, pushing it further down the list. The TSR1 finished 18th overall, producing consistent results, but the accuracy was ranked 21st out of the 23 hybrids in the test.
Irons
The Titleist T-100 was the best for forgiveness in the best player’s irons testing. It earned sixth place overall as it struggled with distance, but it is the most consistent player iron in 2024 testing.
In the player’s distance iron test the Titleist T-200 took fifth place overall. It was third for accuracy which really helped bring up it’s ranking. Again, distance was where the T-200 struggled finishing 12th. We also included the Titleist T-150 in this test and it finished last. The T-150 was the least accurate of all player’s distance irons tested in 2024.
For game improvement irons the T-350 was runner up to the Tour Edge Exotics E723. It was second for accuracy and eighth for both distance and forgiveness. Testers called it appealing at setup and great feeling.
Wedges
The Titleist Vokey SM10 took third place overall in the 2024 Best Golf Wedge testing. It is the most accurate wedge we tested and also got the highest subjective feedback across the board. Golfers love the looks, feel, and sound of these SM10 wedges. The good news is they have the performance necessary to back up that subjective appeal.
Driving irons
The Titleist T-200 took second place in the best driving irons test. It is both long and accurate. The Titleist U505 was also included in this test, and it was the best overall for distance. As we saw throughout all of our testing in 2024, when you add distance, forgiveness and accuracy often struggle. That was the case with the U505, so it finished 7th overall.
Final thoughts
Titleist had some strong contenders in 2024. In the long game, forgiveness seemed to be the best performance characteristic, while accuracy was better for irons and wedges. If you’re a Titleist player, stay tuned to see how the Titleist golf clubs do in the 2025 testing. As always, we suggest a club fitting to ensure your brand loyalty is improving your golf game.

I’m curious if there is any insight to the drastic performance differences between the T100 and T150 irons. The T100 and T150 have very similar designs with the major notable differences being the T150 is slightly larger with stronger lofts. Seeing the T100 have excellent Forgiveness and Accuracy rankings vs its peers and the T150 have comparably pitiful rankings is counterintuitive. My guesses:
1) The T150 would have faired better in the Players club category than Players Distance. Its possible that the T150 trended closer to the Players end and was relatively smaller and less forgiving than the overall Players Distance category. Could it have been a fairly accurate and forgiving club in the Players Category? The Mizuno Pro 243 was in the Players category despite having the same lofts as the T150. I suspect either iron could have fit in either category.
2) Making the T150 a slightly larger version of the T100 doesn’t guarantee additional forgiveness. Small changes in center of gravity position can have significant impacts on overall performance.
I would love to see MGS do a smaller scale test with top 2-3 performing irons from each category and show the results. I think it would be cool to see how a players iron stacks up against a game improvement iron. I would also love to see the same for Blade and Mallet putter testing (or better yet combine them!). Wouldn’t it be great to know if the best performing blade didn’t crack the top 10 overall in the putter rankings.
