Captain Keegan Is On The Ball. Literally.

In a year that’s been filled with some pretty sweet, limited edition gear, Srixon-Cleveland had been, until recently, noticeably quiet.

The company broke that silence in a big way a couple of weeks ago with its jaw-dropping RTZ wedge collaboration with SWAG. Those money wedges were no fluke. Today, Srixon is celebrating the Ryder Cup with a limited edition Captain Keegan Bradley Signature Z-STAR Diamon golf balls.

Keegan Bradley Srixon Z-STAR Diamond golf balls.

Oh Captain, my Captain…

Bradley is a longtime Srixon-Cleveland staffer, so his brand is doing him the honor of putting his mug on his golf ball.

“Keegan has always embodied what it means to be a competitor and now, a leader,” says Srixon Communications Director Noelle Zavaleta. “We’re honored to support him with a product that reflects his grit, his pride and his love of team golf.”

It might not make up for Bradley choosing not to name himself as a Ryder Cup player, but hey, no one else on the team has their face on a golf ball.

The ball itself features a caricature of a mustachioed Bradley in a blue cap and red stripe shirt. The box features Bradley’s signature and serves as an homage to the captain’s New England roots, complete with an illustration of the Boston skyline.

A family tradition

Bradley isn’t the first member of his family to captain the U.S. in international competition. His aunt, LPGA Hall of Famer Pat Bradley, was a member of the inaugural Solheim Cup team in 1990. She later captained the U.S. team in 2000.

Aunt Pat caused a kerfuffle that year when she made Annika Sorenstam replay a holed chip shot because Sorenstam played out of turn. Sorenstam missed the replayed shot, but Team Europe won in the end, reclaiming the Solheim Cup 14½ to 11½.

In her career, Pat Bradley won 31 LPGA events and six majors.

Limited Edition Keegan Bradley Z-STAR Diamond: Price and availability

Bradley has gamed the Srixon Z-STAR Diamond since its release in January of 2022. A consistently strong performer in MyGolfSpy testing, the Z-STAR Diamond is a unique crossover between the soft and spinny Z-STAR and the firmer and less spinny Z-STAR XV.

The Limited Edition Keegan Bradley Z-STAR Diamond golf balls are in stores starting today. They retail for $49.99 per dozen.
