2024 Golf Stock Ticker Survey (Q3)

Instead of our annual One Word Survey, this year we’ve decided to introduce something new. Our golf brand “stock ticker” survey aims to track your perception of golf brands over time.

We want to know if you think the golf brands, influencers and media listed within the survey are trending up, down or staying the same. And while it’s often forgotten in today’s online world, if you don’t have an opinion, that’s perfectly OK, too.

There aren’t any firm guidelines here. We’re just asking for your opinion but here are some things you might want to consider:

For equipment brands, we’d suggest thinking about the quality of recent offerings and the technology and innovation baked into them. Feel free to consider your own excitement level and the buzz (or lack thereof) for the brand.

For apparel companies, again, consider your own interest level, the buzz and, I suppose, whether or not the company and its products are on trend for our ever-evolving sport.

For media and influencers, consider the general quality of the content. Do you find yourself more or less interested in what they’re putting out on a daily or weekly basis?

For the tours, I suppose you can think about the quality of competition, your experience as a viewer and your overall interest level in the product.

For this initial survey, we only ask that you consider how your opinions have shifted from the beginning of 2024.

Moving forward

Our plan is to repeat this survey twice a year: once in the spring after the new releases and again this time of year. The ultimate goal is to track your responses over time to develop a real sense of how brands are trending over an extended period.

Just like the stock market, we’re going to add new brands and when brands trend down for an extended period of time or the interest level is near zero, we’ll de-list them.

The survey shouldn’t take but a few minutes to complete and we’ve left you a comment box in case there’s anything specific you’d like to add.

Thanks in advance for your participation.
