PUMA Sweetens The Season with New Arnold Palmer Collection

There are few apparel collections that I look forward to more than the annual Arnold Palmer Collection from PUMA GOLF.

Perhaps it’s the famed Sportscenter commercial where Palmer shows off the secret to a perfect half-and-half ratio. Maybe it’s just the fact that he’s one of the greatest golfers of all time.

It’s weird. Any time I see that little umbrella logo, my wallet starts to feel a little lighter. By some chance of fate, my wife also starts to become a little angrier. I’m not seeing the connection.

PUMA Golf is no stranger to a good AP collection so this year’s rendition is worth a look.

Spill the Tea

I’ll spill the tea: this new AP Collection is a stunner.

Just me? I know some of you will agree. Interestingly, the collection itself is pretty split down the middle (dare I say half & half?).

Here’s what I mean. While the apparel and most accessories feature pastel pinks and blue color schemes, the shoes take a more colorful approach with hits of red, yellow and green.

By the same token, where some polos feature an all-over floral print, others are more subdued, perhaps with the same floral detailing on the inside of the polo rather than the outside.

This is to say, if patterns and wild designs aren’t your cup of tea, there’s something for you, too.

While I’m really digging the polos and hats, the real sweetener is the shoes. From the stunning PHANTOMCAT NITRO and Slipstream G to the more subtle AVANT and Fusion Classic, I could see myself adding any of these pairs to my gargantuan sneaker collection.

If I tell my wife it’s for work, I can usually get away with it.

In any case, the PUMA Golf x Arnold Palmer Collection is bright, busy and a little bodacious. And I’m here for it.
