TaylorMade TP5 and TP5x pix golf balls now available in yellow

Do you like or maybe even love the TaylorMade Golf TP5 (and TP5x) pix pattern but wish it came in yellow?

Well, now it does.

Guys, there’s no tech story here (at least not above and beyond the one we’ve already told).

The selling point of these new TaylorMade balls is that yellow offers increased visibility and while that’s probably true, it’s also true that some people just like yellow golf balls.

Color is fun.

pix is fun.

What’s not fun here?

Nothing is not fun here.

In a nod to the changing nature of golf retail (and in pursuit of higher margins), TP5 and TP5x pix Yellow golf balls are available exclusively online.

Retail price is $57.99

$57.99 plus tax for a dozen is a bit steep…

It’s getting ridiculous after tax these are over $5/ball and you have to pay shipping on top of that because they’re not in stores. But hey, Klarna offers payment plans of 4 easy installments.

Just for laughs I checked to see what shipping would be…another $13. Would make it $5.38/ball. Damn.

Too bad the new yellow cover has the durability of a wet rag compared to the white version.
      Taylormade fix the yellow cover!
