Goatlane Grant Horvat Collection
  • Swedish golf sneaker brand Goatlane announces the release of the Grant Horvat Collection.
  • The Grant Horvat Collection consists of three limited-run golf shoes.
  • The first pair will be available for purchase on Dec. 26 and is limited to 350 pairs.
  • Retail price is $240.

On Monday, Dec 26, Goatlane is releasing the first of three shoes in the Grant Horvat Collection. The sneaker is dressed in premium white grain calf leather and features a spikeless golf outsole. All Goatlane golf shoes are designed in partnership with PGA TOUR golfer Henrik Norlander. The remaining two pieces of the collection are set to release in the first half of 2023.

Goatlane? Never heard of her.

Goatlane Grant Horvat Collection

Unless you’re deep in the golf influencer scene, there’s a good chance you haven’t heard of Goatlane. The Swedish D2C golf sneaker brand calls itself “disruptive” and has made its mission to blend Tour-level performance with street fashion. Goatlane intentionally describes itself this way in the hope that the modern look draws the consumer in but the professional-level performance keeps them around.

While still a relatively “new” brand (founded in 2020), Goatlane has an impressive stable of talented influencers and ambassadors including Mac Boucher, Henrik Norlander and Grant Horvat.

About Grant Horvat

Grant Horvat

Grant Horvat is still fairly synonymous with GoodGood (despite recently parting ways with the brand) but the rising social media influencer is kick-starting his solo career with the launch of his signature Goatlane shoe. Horvat, who hails from Florida, grew up on the green under the direction of his father, a long-time PGA teaching professional.

A Peek Behind the Curtain

Goatlane golf sneakers look pretty slick but you’re probably wondering the same thing I am: Are there any brains behind those beautiful, soft leather curves? Let’s break it down.

  • Weatherproof exterior
  • G-twist spikeless cleats for multi-directional grip and traction
  • Removable cushioned footbed for support and comfort

At first glance, Goatlane seems to have all the bases covered but I won’t know for sure until I get my hands on a pair. If the smart, sexy looks and premium materials are any indicator of the performance, there’s plenty to be optimistic about.

Goat-worthy

Grant Horvat Goatlane

Collaborations of this magnitude are becoming more normal in the golf influencer community. Whether the partnership between Grant Horvat and Goatlane will pay performance dividends is still TBD but I’d say that, for now, Goatlane is living up to the “disruptive golf company” moniker.

You can join the rebellion and snag the first shoe in the Goatlane Grant Horvat Collection starting Dec. 26.

I love the use of the term “disruptive” (which seems to be a necessary buzzword these days). What exactly are they “disrupting”??? And how is selling 350 pairs of shoes going to “disrupt” anything? I read a ton of golf stuff, never heard of any of the names referenced. Put out a comfortable, waterproof shoe for <$50 & OK, that will turn heads & get noticed.

What morons put out the seed money for this venture?

I’m the target demographic for this but seriously won’t even look at a pair of golf shoes without replaceable spikes. If you could replace the entire tread separately on some of these shoes i’m interested but this industry is expensive enough. The entire market trend is clearly geared towards replacing pairs of shoes more frequently so no i’m not in on wearing my golf shoes off-course I want TRACTION.

I like Grant Horvat. Good luck to Grant getting into the very competitive golf shoe business. I will stick with my FJ’s for now.

Sorry, never heard of the 3 Stooges you mentioned. How are they influencing the golf industry? Unless I am under a rock, these guys haven’t influenced any golf decision I have made in the last 45 years. Shoes are ok. Look like a pair of Stan Smith adidas!!

yes, you must live under a rock. I also have never purchased anything because of Grant either and probably won’t however, I hate watching professional golf but Grant and the Goodgood guys are a fun bunch.

      Jeff,
I am 50+ and agree that Good Good and also Grant are good for golf’s future. Not sure these Stan Smith knockoffs will move the needle, but it’s “good good” to have other brands trying to make their mark.

Forget these Tennis shoes.. If peeple want to buy these style shoes the they should play Tennis! Golf shoes have a different purpose and style to far more classy or at least should be and have functional purpose on the course..

Tennis shoes are a cheap look and serve no functionality on course spiked or spikeless!

These look almost identical to Olukai Golf Shoes. Nothing crazy here in a difficult, saturated market. I bet they will sell out though, because enough limited edition does more often than not.
