The Most Expensive Golf Hoodie I’ve Ever Worn. And I Get It Now

Why on God’s green earth is B. Draddy not getting more love?

I recently took the Andy Quilted Hoodie for a spin and it left me in awe. It’s a stark juxtaposition to your typical performance fabric stuff and maybe that’s a good thing.

Why?

Because I had no idea Peruvian cotton could be so damn comfy (even in slightly warmer weather).

I’ve been racking my brain trying to think of ways to describe what the Andy Quilted Hoodie feels like. The following is a haiku I’ve written to try to adequately express how comfy this thing is.

Like petting a dog

Or lying on a pillow

It envelopes you

I kid (but only a little). As someone with close to 20 hoodies in my closet, it’s rare that I reach for the same one two days in a row. Or three. Heck, I may have worn this one for a week straight before the weather here decided to jump from 60 to 90 degrees.

I’m not gonna sit here and say everyone needs one of these hoodies. Especially not for $256. But if you’re looking for something outside of the normal techy and plasticky performance apparel that we’ve grown used to in golf, this piece is a must-try.

Oh, and I’m sure it’s burner-verse approved, so there’s that too.

I read the “Our Story” section on their website. It’s amazing how many words they use to basically say nothing. What a bunch of pompous bullshit.

Only an elitist could hock Peruvian cotton hoodies.

At $256 I don’t care if its actually the best hoodie ever created, that’s ridiculous. There are just more and more of these overpriced apparel companies popping up.

Please STOP these idiotic articles. It’s insulting to folks who are struggling to scrape up muni greens fees. You may ask, why did I click on the article? Given the headline, I wanted to see how ridiculous the price was. And my curiosity was satisfied. Why don’t you review stuff that average folks (would) buy?

I’m sure your articles are judged on how many ‘clicks’ you get so you got me on this one. But in the future find a better use of 2 minutes of my life & avoid your articles.

I’m not sure what’s more idiotic, the fact that you read the headline with the word “expensive” in it and clicked the headline anyways or the fact that you think the internet needs “YOUR” opinion. Spoiler alert it doesn’t. Did you watch the PGA Championship? Commercials for M-B Maybach cars, private jet rentals and investment firms/banks that require deposits of 100K just to open an account. There’s plenty of articles on this site for good cheaper clothes. If you don’t like what’s on the TV, change the channel.

Appreciate this, Eric :) Sound logic by my book!

      1) I clicked it to find out how silly the article was (thought I said that, was my comment not clear enough?).
      2) Last time I looked, the internet (& these comment sections) were created for my (& your) opinion. And judging by the comments, seems like a ton of readers agree w/ me. Not you, sport.
      3) Yes, I watched the PGA Championship but due to a prior commitment, I DVR’d it. So, I don’t have to sit thru commercials & waste precious moments of life like you apparently did.

I may try to grab one on EBay when they don’t sell but with all the people buying Greyson these just might sell

It’s not getting more love…because it’s $256. Are you freaking kidding me here? I like hoodies. I have several different styles and brands, but that’s just ridiculous.

I wish hoodies were banned – not just from the golf course but from the country. – semi serious here as no good seems to come from anyone wearing them

$260 for a hoodie? Nah bro. I could buy every color way in the DTWOO collection and they are super comfortable, fit and look great. Hell I already have 4 of them and it cost me less than half that.

I get people like hoodies, I find it funny as heck watching a tour guy wearing one and the wind keeps blowing the hood all over and they have to keep pushing it down. NO functional reason to wear a hoody on the golf course.

People can’t afford groceries or gas but we’re hyping a $260 hoodie now…
