Yeti Finally Made a Cooler Built for the Golf Cart

Got a piece of advice for you.

Scrap whatever you decided to snag for Father’s Day. Seriously, Dad has enough ties.

Today, Yeti announced its most portable, budget-friendly hard cooler ever. And it’s just in time for Dad’s upcoming tee time.

The Roadie 8 is the brand’s most compact hard cooler yet, and it was practically designed for 18 holes. It holds 12 cans, built with the same RockSolid construction and Tundra cold-holding power that made Yeti famous. In a small package that fits perfectly in the back of your golf cart or the back of my Corolla Hatchback the next time I decide to take a quick trip down to Pinehurst.

The real standout for golfers is the AnchorPoint Tie-Down Slots. Mount it directly to your cart, ride or walk, and it stays put. Because there’s no more precious cargo than a 12-pack of God’s Nectar (Diet Coke).

Its $165 for a 12-pack cooler, and it doesn’t even mount on the cart. I doubt it would fit in the basket of my Ez-Go, and the tie-down slots don’t really help. And no one needs 12 cans of beer – that’s not golf, that’s just drunk play.
Its a nice, expensive mid-size cooler. But I’ll be surprised to see one on a cart.
