I’ve Tried Them All. This $15 Product is the Best Way To Clean Golf Shoes.

Let’s face it. Golf shoes are pricey. Whether your shopping for a new pair of FootJoy Premieres, G/FORE or adidas, you can easily find yourself spending upwards of $200.

If you’re going to spend your hard earned cash on golf shoes, you should spend a little cash on keeping them clean and pristine.

Just as you regularly clean your clubs to maintain consistent performance and clean aesthetics, you should follow the same advice for golf shoes. Clean golf shoes look better, feel better and depending on how dirty they are, may even perform better after a quick clean.

For my money, there’s no better (or easier) way to keep your golf shoes clean than RESHOEVN8R’s sneaker wipes. I’ve been using this product for years on my everyday kicks, and they work wonders in a pinch.

These portable wet wipes pack a powerful punch thanks to the unique texture and soap compound. The flat side is great for wiping, while the textured side is great for scrubbing and tougher jobs.

In any case, keeping a handful of sneaker wipes in your golf bag at all times is a great way to maintain your golf shoes so that they last for years to come.

I agree with the most recent comments. Just received these from Amazon. they do not work at all…..too dry, no friction since they are so dry. what a waste.

Junk. Doesn’t do anything. I ordered and the packets arrived dried-out. I moistened them myself and they did nothing. I returned them.

I guess I am old school. Saddle soap and polish on the leather. Use neutral on the white. Nothing uglier than white shoe polish. It tends to be wet in the Northwest. Most courses have compressed air to get the spikes cleaned and the loose grass of the shoes.

I’ve used crocodile wipes for years to clean golf shoes. At Amazon you get 100 large wipes for $20.
Home Depot also carries them for cheaper ~ $16

These could be good to keep in a vehicle for when you forget to clean your shoes beforehand. But it’s hard to beat removing the soles and washing everything in a sink with dish soap and/or sodium percarbonate (OxyClean).

I have no problems using Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Been using this on my sneakers for years and now on my golf shoes, it even gets those stains that’s been on them for a while out.

Can they help remove dirt and stuff that’s been on the shoes for months? It’s not heavy stuff, just dirt that’s built up into the shoes (especially the front toe area) over time and usage.

Connor – thanks, I’ll try this. Another product that I’ve had success with is micellar water.
