Masters 2025 Driving Distance: Which Players Hit It The Farthest

Now that the 2025 Masters is in the books, we can start to go back and break down how it all unfolded.

While some argue that golf isn’t just a distance game, the driving distance stats from Augusta suggest otherwise. Distance off the tee played a big role in how the tournament finished.

Here’s a look at who was the longest and a few other things we found interesting along the way.

Other interesting Masters performance stats

Outside of driving distance, there were some other stats that made this an exciting Masters tournament. Here’s some data that helps tell the story.

• Bryson DeChambeau didn’t have his A-game on Sunday but he led the field in driving distance (330.8 yards) and still hit 78 percent of his fairways for the tournament.
• Rory McIlroy ranked second in driving distance, second in putting average and scrambled at 68 percent. He wasn’t perfect tee-to-green but the short game and putter were dialed in.
• Justin Rose tied Rory to force the playoff and quietly had one of the most complete performances: top three in greens in regulation, top three in putting and led the field in birdie or better percentage (33.3 percent).
• Corey Conners was a ball-striking machine: 84 percent of fairways hit (T6), 76 percent GIR (T2) and a T8 finish to show for it. But the putter kept him from a win: he ranked 38th in putting average.
• Jason Day led the field in scrambling, getting up and down 85 percent of the time. He made par or better on 23 of 27 missed greens.
• Hideki Matsuyama led the field in GIR at over 80 percent and fired a final-round 66, which tied for the best round on Sunday.
