Giveaway: Golfer Most in Need of a L.A.B. Putter

L.A.B. Golf putters might have the most notable uptick in the golf industry recently. The results speak for themselves:

  • Lucas Glover – 2009 U.S. Open champion who became a footnote on the PGA TOUR and to golf fans. Resurrected his career this year with wins in back-to-back weeks.
  • Camilo Villegas – A previous winner on the PGA TOUR who snapped a nine-year slump to finally break through at this year’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
  • Adam Scott – A Masters champion, a former world No. 1-ranked player, but the anchoring ban in 2016 certainly impacted him. The future looks promising though as he placed in the top 10 four times in 2023. In each of those finishes, he had a +1> strokes gained for putting.

What do these three have in common? L.A.B Golf putters.

There is a clear performance difference between pros and amateurs. However, if there is a single golf club that can help improve any golfer’s performance, the argument can be made – it is generally the putter.

The Relevancy is Here to Stay

L.A.B. Golf Putters

More and more golfers are using L.A.B. Golf putters. Even some of our staff members have one in their golf bag—Chris Nickel, Connor Lindeman, Jamie Danbrook and me, Phillip Bishop.

Why? We’ve seen the performance benefits personally and they reflect the results of L.A.B. Golf putters in our Most Wanted Mallet Putter Test. The L.A.B. Golf Mezz.1 Max placed second overall in our 2023 test.

The Golfer Most In Need of a L.A.B. Putter

Now, our goal is to discover which golfer out there is most in need of a L.A.B. Golf putter.

Are you a golfer with incredible ball striking ability, hit more than 70 percent of greens in regulation but end up with 35 or more putts? This is for you.

Are you a high-handicap golfer with zero confidence on the putting green? This is for you.

Are you a golfer who is handsy (has the yips) during the putting stroke and can’t let the putter flow naturally? This is for you.

Are you a highly competitive amateur or professional golfer and putting is your Achilles heel? This is for you.

If you believe a L.A.B. Golf putter will enhance your overall golf game, this testing opportunity is for YOU.

Make Your Case

Here is how this works. We need two items from you.

  • A down-the-line video of your putting stroke (shot in 9×16 framing)
  • A personal nightmare putting tale of woe

**Follow L.A.B. Golf’s video instructions HERE**

Send these two items to [email protected]

Registration closes on December 10th.

We will announce four finalists and then have the rest of you vote for the winner via Instagram.

Send in your entry now if you believe you are the most deserving to try out a custom-fitted L.A.B. Golf putter. Once a winner has been named, we’ll follow along with their putting journey as they (hopefully) find new life on the greens with a custom L.A.B. putter.

So just got my Mezz Max converted from Armlock to Broomstick. by LAB. Have not been able to roll outside yet, but inside this is perfection from the setup and roll on my putter stick, to the stats on my blast motion. I have arthritis and when they banned anchoring my putting woes started. I tried everything including Armlock. I went from a regular DF 2.1 to a DF Armlock and then tried the Mezz Max Armlock. The DF @.1 Broomstick was an upgrade for me, but didn’t set up consistently with my eyes over the ball consistently. The stock Mezz Max Broom seems to have the perfect balance setup for me at least and I can’t seem to make myself create a “stress” scenario to miss.

Just sent my entry in last night. I sure could use an upgrade from my old Ping Doc 15.5 L. Best of luck to all who entered.

Good luck to all. I love mine, and I hope that for whoever wins, it helps your putting as much as my LAB’s helped mine.

Just keep an open mind when you’re learning it. It’s going to feel a little different than most other putters you’ve likely tried before.

Lately I’ve been having problems with my putting, and as a result I’m losing a lot of shots on the green. I think the LAB putter can help me improve my results.

I’ve always prided myself on my putting. but after looking at my stats, I’m averaging 38 putts per round. with 5 three putts each round. so The LAB putter would be a great opportunity to improve.

you lost me at the video need but alas the video is for fitting my fit is established at 31-1/2″ long and 68* lie angle and loft at 2.5 * and Winn 1.32 putter grip would only try out the link style putters anyhow. My putting issue mainly is speed control and the occasional mis-read

The lab Mezz max seems like a larger Mezz. I can’t find anything on what the performance difference is , larger MOI and perhaps easier on longer putts to hit square? Why does one choose one over the other? Maybe it’s just preference?

What an awesome and incredible opportunity for someone.
Will Zalatoris also has put one into play recently, so there must be something special with these LAB putters.

I recently turned 80 and have played this great game for 65 of those years. Don’t have to dwell on the loss of distance so putting becomes a very important part of my game. I’m hitting 5-6 greens so obviously, the putting becomes very important. I’m probably averaging five three putts a round. I’d like to decrease these three putts to bring my mid-80’s rounds closer to my age. Thanks for the opportunity.
