The Best Father’s Day Golf Gifts (2026)

Buying a Father’s Day gift for a golfer should be easy. In theory, golfers always need something: balls, gloves, shoes, apparel, rangefinders, bags, training aids and, if you’re feeling particularly generous, new clubs. The problem is that there’s just too much golf stuff out there to choose from. That makes finding a good gift a lot harder than it needs to be.

That’s where I come in to help. Whether you’re shopping for a dad who plays every weekend, a dad who’s just getting into the game or a dad who simply loves anything golf-adjacent, these are some of the best Father’s Day golf gifts for 2026. Some are practical. Some are premium. Some are just plain fun. But all of them are gifts a golf-loving dad would actually be excited to receive.

Maxfli Golf Balls

Golf balls are one of the safest Father’s Day gifts because every golfer needs them and every golfer eventually loses them.

Maxfli is a great choice because the performance-to-price ratio is excellent. MyGolfSpy staffer, Britt, recently played only Maxfli golf balls for 45 days and came away extremely impressed by the lineup, especially the value, durability and real on-course performance. Her biggest takeaway was simple: not everyone needs a $5 golf ball to play well.

Because of that, Maxfli is an easy recommendation. The Tour X is a great fit for golfers who want more speed and greenside spin, the Tour is a well-rounded option for a wide range of players and the Tour S gives softer feel for moderate swing speeds. You can also buy alignment versions if Dad likes using a visible line on the greens.

Golf balls may not be the flashiest Father’s Day gift, but they’re useful, easy to buy and almost guaranteed to get used.

FootJoy Premiere Series Golf Shoes

There’s a reason FootJoy has been the name in golf shoes for as long as most of us can remember. More specifically, there’s a reason the Premiere Series continues to have such a strong presence on Tour and in the premium shoe market: they’re just excellent golf shoes.

The FootJoy Premiere Series gives Dad that classic, proper golf shoe look without sacrificing modern comfort and performance. They’re polished, stable, refined and built for golfers who still believe a golf shoe should look like a golf shoe. They feel premium, they look fantastic and they work with just about any golf outfit. Whether Dad prefers a more traditional on-course look or simply wants something that feels a little more elevated than the average athletic-style golf shoe, the Premiere Series is an easy recommendation.

Arccos Air

Arccos Air is a great Father’s Day gift for the dad who loves data but doesn’t necessarily want to fuss with sensors on every club.

The big selling point is simple: Arccos Air automatically tracks shots from your pocket without requiring club sensors or a phone during the round. It ties into the Arccos app to provide game analytics, Strokes Gained insights and a clearer picture of where a golfer is gaining or losing shots. For dads who want to practice smarter and actually understand their game, that can be incredibly valuable.

It’s also a more streamlined entry point into the Arccos ecosystem. Instead of thinking about every shot during the round, Dad can just play golf and review the data afterward. The one thing to know is that Arccos Air does not automatically identify which club was used on each shot unless paired with Smart Sensors, so club-specific data may require some post-round editing.

Still, for the golfer who loves numbers, improvement and knowing exactly where his game stands, Arccos Air is a smart and genuinely useful gift.

ShotScope LM1 Launch Monitor

Shot Scope LM1 personal launch monitor

For $199, the Shot Scope LM1 Launch Monitor is insane. Launch monitors used to feel like luxury items reserved for serious golfers with serious budgets. The LM1 changes that. At this price, Dad can get real practice data without spending Garmin R50 money or building out a full simulator setup.

We’ve talked about the LM1 ad nauseum, and the appeal is pretty straightforward: it gives golfers access to useful numbers in a small, portable package at a price that feels almost impossible for the category. For the dad who likes to practice, dial in distances or simply understand what’s actually happening with his swing, this is a tremendous gift.

Instead of guessing how far he hits each club or relying purely on feel, Dad can start building a clearer picture of his game. This is helpful whether he’s grinding on the range, working through a swing change or just trying to stop lying to himself about how far he hits his 7-iron. At $199, the Shot Scope LM1 is one of the easiest recommendations on this list. It’s useful, fun and genuinely impressive for the money.

PING Hoofer

PING Hoofer 1_26 MW_1

The PING Hoofer is one of the safest golf bag recommendations you can make, and our 2026 testing backs that up.

After testing 90 golf bags, the PING Hoofer was named our best golf bag of the year. The Hoofer has been a standard in the stand bag category for decades. It’s comfortable to carry, practical, well-organized and versatile enough for golfers who walk, ride or do a little bit of both.

Golf bags are a piece of equipment golfers use constantly, but they often wait way too long to replace. If Dad is still lugging around an old, worn-out bag with tired straps, broken zippers or awkward storage, get him a PING Hoofer. It may not be the flashiest gift on this list, but it might be one of the most useful. There’s a reason the Hoofer keeps finding its way near the top of golf bag testing year after year.

B. Draddy Cotton Polo Shirts

While cotton golf polos may be gaining some traction thanks to Charlie Hulme on the Smylie Show, I’m happy to report that I’ve been preaching the gospel of cotton for a while now. Either way, welcome to the #summerofcotton.

B. Draddy’s cotton polos are a perfect Father’s Day gift because they represent everything I like about premium golf apparel when it’s done correctly. They’re soft, comfortable, textured and look like actual shirts, not thin pieces of synthetic performance fabric with a logo slapped on the chest.

I recently wrote that premium golf polos can absolutely be worth it, but they need to earn the premium. B. Draddy does that. Their cotton polos offer a completely different value proposition than the sea of stretchy, plasticky golf shirts that dominate the market. They drape better, feel better and work just as well off the course as they do on it.

Every golfer, Dad included, would benefit from having a few cotton polos in the rotation. Performance polos have their place, but there’s something undeniably better-looking and more refined about a good cotton golf shirt. If you want to get Dad something he’ll actually wear all summer, B. Draddy cotton polos are an easy recommendation.

Caldera + Lab The Face SPF

This might be the most practical gift on the entire list. Caldera + Lab’s The Face SPF is my favorite sunscreen by a country mile. I almost never leave the house without it, and there is not a round of golf I play without putting it on. Skin care, especially sun protection, is extremely important for golfers. We spend hours outside, often in direct sunlight, and too many of us treat sunscreen like an afterthought.

Caldera + Lab’s The Face SPF is useful, thoughtful and something Dad will and should use every round. A new driver is fun. Protecting the face from the sun is one of those things every golfer should take seriously. The Face SPF also feels premium because it is. It couldn’t be more different from the greasy sunscreen you throw on before a beach day. It’s easy to apply, feels great on the skin and fits naturally into a daily routine.

If Dad plays a lot of golf, this is a no-brainer.

GolfForever Golf Fitness Training System

If Dad is constantly trying to get one stroke better, the GolfForever Golf Fitness Training System is one of the best gifts you can buy him.

Amongst a litany of tour pros, Scottie Scheffler uses GolfForever, which is a pretty strong endorsement considering he is, well, Scottie Scheffler. But this is not just a “tour player uses it, so you should too” situation. GolfForever is designed to help golfers improve mobility, strength, flexibility and stability. Most golfers spend money on clubs, balls and gadgets while ignoring the one thing that affects every single shot: their body. If Dad wants more speed, better movement and a swing that holds up for 18 holes, this will absolutely help.

Jones A2 Backpack

The Jones A2 Backpack is easily my favorite backpack, and I’m not alone. Both I and fellow MyGolfSpy staffer Britt Olizarowicz have this backpack, use it and love it.

Britt said that this is the backpack she’s taking on every golf trip, and it’s easy to see why. The A2 is the perfect blend of good looks, practicality and travel-ready functionality. It works as an everyday backpack, a golf-trip bag, a carry-on companion or the thing Dad grabs when he’s heading to the course, office or airport.

What I like most is that it feels like a Jones product. It looks amazing, is completely functional, and very high-quality. If Dad travels for golf or simply needs a better everyday backpack, the A2 is an excellent gift.

Superfeet Golf Insoles

Superfeet Golf Insoles are one of those gifts that may not seem exciting at first, but Dad will absolutely appreciate them once he starts walking the course.

Superfeet offers support options for just about every foot type, including high arches, medium arches, and low arches. Look, even the most comfortable golf shoes can start to feel uncomfortable without the right support. My dad and I both deal with foot issues, and having the appropriate insoles can make a massive difference over the course of 18 holes.

Golf can be especially rough on your feet. Between walking, standing, uneven lies, hard turf and long days at the course, your feet take a beating. Superfeet insoles are practical, thoughtful and proactive.

This is not the coolest Father’s Day gift on the list, but it is one of the smartest. If Dad walks when he plays, deals with foot discomfort or simply wants to make his favorite golf shoes feel better for longer, and as a personal user, Superfeet Golf Insoles are an easy recommendation.

Garmin Approach S44 GPS Watch

In 2026 testing, the Approach S44 was named our runner-up for Best Golf GPS Watch. That makes it a strong option for golfers who want reliable yardages, useful golf features and the convenience of having everything right on their wrist. The S44 gives Dad quick access to the numbers he actually needs during a round, whether that’s yardage to the green, hazards or key spots on the course. For a lot of golfers, that kind of information can make decision-making easier and the round more enjoyable.

It’s also a more approachable option than some of Garmin’s higher-end watches. You still get a strong golf GPS experience, but without jumping all the way to the most expensive model in the lineup. If Dad likes gadgets, plays a lot of golf or simply wants to stop guessing yardages, the Garmin Approach S44 is a great pick.

Wilson Infinite Buckingham Putter

The Wilson Infinite Buckingham speaks for itself. Our 2025 Mallet Putter of the Year is $140, and remains one of the best values in golf. Not one of the best values in putters. One of the best values in golf. Period.

A great putter does not need to cost $400 or $500, and the Buckingham is proof. It gives Dad a stable, confidence-inspiring mallet shape with the kind of performance that earned it the top spot in last year’s testing. If a putter helps start the ball online, control speed and inspire more confidence over short putts, it’s an elite putter.

Seriously, this is an easy recommendation.

Quince Golf Outfit

I talk about Quince a lot, and that’s because I seriously believe that they’re making the best overall golf apparel in the game, especially with regard to price. For $78, you can get your dad a Flowknit Breeze polo and ProTech Shorts. If you feel like spending a but more, you can throw in the Jack Woven Belt for $60, and you’ve got a complete outfit for $138—that’s nuts especially considering that’s the price of one polo at Holderness & Bourne. continue to be blown away by how well Quince’s golf apparel holds up, fits, and looks. If your dad even remotely cares about how he looks on the course, an outfit from Quince is a great way to keep him looking great without breaking the bank.

Alphard Cybercart

Alphard Cybercart_MW Electric Push Carts 2025

The Alphard Cybercart is absolutely a premium Father’s Day gift. It’s expensive, serious and isn’t something every golfer needs. But if Dad walks when he plays and you really want to spoil him, this thing is genuinely amazing.

If you didn’t already know, this was named our Best Electric Push Cart of 2025, and it’s easy to understand why. It takes so much of the physical burden out of walking 18 holes while still letting you enjoy the best version of golf: being on your feet, moving through the course and not feeling like you’re dragging the weight of the world behind yo.

This is the kind of gift that will actually change the way Dad plays golf. Walking becomes easier. Hilly courses become less daunting. Long rounds become more enjoyable. And if he already likes walking, the Cybercart makes that experience even better. Yes, it costs a lot. But some products justify the splurge, and the Alphard Cybercart is one of them. It is worth every single solitary penny.

YETI Hopper Flip 8 Cooler

A good cooler is never a bad Father’s Day gift, and the YETI Hopper Flip 8 is ol’ reliable. This is the perfect size for Dad to bring to the course, the beach, the boat or anywhere else he wants to keep a few drinks cold without lugging around a massive cooler. YETI products are expensive, but they also last forever. The Hopper Flip 8 is a great gift.

I think Superfeet has a fine product. I hate that you go thru their sizing routine just to have them try to harvest your email address. Aetrex has a great product, they don’t ask for your email, the have a chat function(with real people) to help you thru the selection and they are recommended by many physical therapists and athletic trainers as an alternative to the Goodfeet Stores.(90% of patients don’t need custom fit orthodics.

takes about 5 seconds with AI to verify weblinks when you’re creating your content. It’s rather frustrating when the links don’t match the products. In today’s world we have to be better than this….

      1. I don’t understand why everyone has a boner over the LM1–the only thing it does that my 15 year old VoiceCaddy SC200 does (same price years ago) is send the data to an app on the phone. And-worthless for speed training because you are required to hit a ball to get clubhead speed.
      2. Be careful what you wish for—ARCCOS has actually taken a step backward with the new system. They eliminated the club tags, you still have to pay for an app, and CLUB tracking is gone and requires on course or post round editing on the app—do you remember what club you hit from every shot ??? Of course you don’t.
A MUCH better option you should wish for is the Shotscope V5 gps watch now available for as low as $200 with free for life robust app and low profile club tags which synch with the watch every time you hit a shot. The Shotscope app is terrific–easy to work on, fun, has high res. satellite course images for post round review and editing if needed, and supplies tons of data in simple to understand formats

Agreed on the LM1. The PRGR does the same thing AND you don’t need a ball for swing speed training.
