How much does an inch actually matter in golf?

It actually equals about 42 feet or 14 more yards on your drive.

What am I talking about? I’m talking about tee height. We did a test inside the MyGolfSpy lab and we found out the difference between a half inch tee, you know the way people used to tee it up, and an inch and a half tee is about 14 yards longer by going with the longer tee.

It also results in higher launch angle. lower spin, better angle of attack, and also you actually hit more fairways. So you’re actually longer and straighter.

Looking for even more distance? Try these 5 golf balls!

I think if you hover, this is a decent idea. The longest hitter in my group tees it so low you wonder if he’s going to make contact. I’ve tried both, and a higher tee requires me to hover if I want the best result. I’m still leaning towards half the ball above my cluface.
