Winner! – January 2012 Forum Member of the Month

Congratulations!

MyGolfSpy would like to congratulate January 2012’s “MyGolfSpy Forum Member of the Month”, JohnBarry.

Choosing a winner for January was by far the most difficult decision we’ve had to make in the brief history of the Forum Member of the Month program. There were a few other names that were on everybody’s list, and while we considered naming multiple winners, splitting the prize pool doesn’t work very well. We’d like to thank everyone who participated in our forums last month, and we hope that you’ll continue to work hard to help us expand our forum and grow our community.

In January, JohnBarry was an participant in over 40 threads, and started one of our favorite topics in the history of the forum: Why Did You Start Playing Golf?

John has been a member of the forum since its inception, and while we think he perhaps spends too much time wearing skirts, we appreciate his participation, and his ongoing commitment to supporting MyGolfSpy.

About the Forum Member of the Month

The Forum Member of the Month isn’t simply given to the forum member who starts the most topics, or comments on the most posts. It’s given to a reader we feel has done an outstanding job of eliciting conversation, contribution to the discussion, and ultimately helping grow the MyGolfSpy Community.

As the name suggests, each and every month we will select a new winner, and while there will be some overlap, every month’s prize package will be unique.  So if you haven’t become a member of the MyGolfSpy forum yet…now is a perfect time to start.  The MyGolfSpy Forum now has over 12,000 members and over 48,500 golf posts…so you are sure to find fellow golfers who share your passion for the game…and now you can win some kick-ass prizes as well.

PRIZE PACKAGE (Worth Over $375)

Once again, please join me in congratulating Jnuary 2012’s MyGolfSpy Forum Member of the Month, JohnBarry.  In recognition of this award, John will be receiving the following prizes:
