MyGolfSpy would like to congratulate September 2012’s “MyGolfSpy Forum Member of the Month”, Ice.
We said from the time we gave out the very first Forum Member of the Month award we weren’t simply going to give it to the guy (or gal) who starts the most threads, or comments the most on other’s posts. Well, we lied.
Actually, we’re not giving Ice this month’s award simply because he started the most threads (even though he did – including the “Golf Pet Peeves” thread), or because he commented more than anybody else (even though he did). In the midst of all the whining and complaining over our Tour Staff Contest, Ice (who basically just joined the forum), not only commented on the ridiculousness of it all, but mentioned that it was his goal to become one of the core members of our forum; one of the guys who essentially takes it upon himself to help continue to grow our forum.
While it’s too soon to say if he’ll continue the effort, he’s well on his way to becoming an indispensable part of our community. As Daniel Tosh would say, Ice, “and for that we thank you”.

The Forum Member of the Month isn’t simply given to the forum member who starts the most topics, or comments on the most posts. It’s given to a reader we feel has done an outstanding job of eliciting conversation, contribution to the discussion, and ultimately helping grow the MyGolfSpy Community.
