4 weeks agoIs it just me, or does the LIMITED-EDITION PING PLD PRIME TYNE 4 look like a clone of the Tommy Armour Impact Series No. 3 Alignment Putter (which only costs 1/4 the price)?
Rob
4 weeks agoThat would be yes
h.wright
1 month agoClub head speed is dismal…..lowest iron I carry is a 7….the rest have headcovers…..would love to use the tour exotic wood iron…..i hear they launch it straight up!!!!!
mackdaddy9
1 month agoJust fit a whole new bag and I’ll be playing these clubs for about 10 years.
Anthony Cozzetto
1 month agoLove your site looking forward to staying up to date with your emails.
John
1 month agoHave been playing Srixon Z Stars since they were introduced along with Srixon drivers.(original Z Star and the 545). Currently gaming Mizuno 900 Hot Metal irons but am looking for a better feel and more workability that would come with forgings. Would love to try the ZX5 irons.
Robert
1 month agoEither the Wilson or Srixon drivers, oh ok the Hogan or Tour Edge as well. As you can tell I’m looking for a new driver. I’m also a Wilson iron player from the early 80’s so I’d love to try the new irons as well.
Rob
1 month agoStay tuned for Wilson’s releases early next year, I think you’ll really like what see in not only the driver and irons, but something in putter that I think will be very popular among Wilson fans.
Rob
1 month agoI’d be thrilled by a slightly smaller Grant Park.
Mike
1 month agoGood article. But I actually replaced my entire bag in 2020 (even the bag itself), so I doubt any of these new clubs would catch my fancy.. I will always look at new drivers though, that’s been my trouble club so if there’s something out there that’s markedly better than what I’m playing, that might be an option. But I would absolutely look to purchase it on eBay.
Grant Mc
1 month agoMight finally be able to afford an M1!
Bob Lannon
1 month agoOnly thing I’m looking for is a new putter. Liked the new Ping and hopefully they will produce more.
Jerry Garris
1 month agoI would like to test the Hogan driver. One of my favorite drivers way back was the Hogan Series 56 metal wood. Have always thought they might bring that one back.
Glenn Stowell
1 month agoThat cobra driver looks amazing going to have to try it
Steve Smith
1 month agoWhy no mention of the Ping 425 ?
RVirk
1 month agoNo love for the DTC companies ? Like Sub70 and others like Stix & New Level ?
TJ
1 month agoPXG was on the list.
Phil
1 month agoJust bought Sub 70 639 MB’s and a Hybrid. There clubs are fantastic! Save your cash and go the DTC route. The owner Jason asks to talk with you on the phone. Guides you through the right specs for you and your swing. I could not be happier. These not only feel great, they perform! Everyone asks, “Hey, what is Sub 70”? Can I hit those? I say sure and they are sold!
Dennis Beach
1 month agoNothing new going into my bag for at least 10 years, after putting close to a $1000 in my bag over this year. Driver, replaced irons with an all hybrid set(4-pw), new wedges and putter. Can’t wait for next season here in the Chicago area..
James
1 month agoI hear you. I spent about $1,500 this year, so I’m not investing anything else for the next 3-4.
Peter Deem
1 month agoI always wonder why a company shows their putters sole when we look down the top when using them? Plus I’m surprised the PXG putters are under $300.
Paul
1 month agoAgreed. Plus, a putter is something you really like to try out. Where can you try out a PXG?
Bruce McRae
1 month agoI can remember when TaylorMade drivers were $300. At that time, I thought the upper limit on golf club pricing had been reached. These new drivers now cost more than a full set of Pings cost only a few years ago. Is inflation really that bad?
James
1 month agoWhy do people insist on whining about prices on every single golf equipment thread? It’s an epidemic. If you can’t afford golf clubs, why are you reading this website?
P.S. Callaway was charging $500 for a driver 20 years ago. On an inflation-adjusted basis, golf clubs are cheaper than they’ve ever been.
Alan Peabody
1 month agoI would DEARLY like to test the new Cobra Radspeed, the Tilelist TSi3, and the Ping RLD Tyne 4 putter. They all seem to be smart choices for a mid-handicapper who still occasionally can get it out there 260. Most of all, the Ping putter really excites me!!
Jonathan Moyal
1 month agoTSi3 Driver, Srixon irons…..that part of the bag needs an update 😀
Steve S
1 month agoLots of neat looking stuff…..none of it will make it into my bag for at least 2 years.
Rene
1 month agoWhat about golf balls?
Paulo
1 month agoAre ping not releasing a new driver anytime in 2021?
Pete
1 month agoThey are. The G425
Brian Martin
1 month agoG425 is on tap but unsure of release date. Supposed to be a beast.
Paulo
1 month agoUnless it’s not released until 2022 I’d say this is a big oversight my mgs
Aart
1 month agoPING G425 line is supposed to be announced for USA and UK on 11 January 2021, so sooner than expected
Barry
1 month agoI can’t wait to get a cobra rad speed xd- does anyone know if the draw model will be low spin as I swing about 110 and want lower spin than my Mavrik max and NEED draw bias!
Steve
1 month agoInteresting look at the new stuff for 2021 – thanks for sharing this! Maybe I missed it, but I thought PING was intro-ing a new Driver in January???
dhb10844
1 month agoThat’s quite the New Season’s Releases list. However, I don’t see the clubs that I am waiting for in 2021…Ping G425’s~! I’ll wait.
Andrew Flatters
1 month agoWhat about the ping G425?
George Steer
1 month agoSo does this mean PING is not releasing the G425 line in the US?
WiTerp
4 weeks agoNot at all. Australia is in summer now.. If no official dates by the time of the virtual PGA show at the end of January, dates will be released then. G425 MAX. G425 SFT, and G425 LST have been added to the USGA conforming list. Titleist will also be announcing TSi- 1 & 4 drivers and TSi – 1 woods at or after the show.. Not expecting a TSi-4 fairway line.
Milton Taylor
1 month agoDid you really just leave the Ping G425 woods off of this.?
David Bloom
1 month agoWhy no G425 driver??
michael agishian
1 month agoI have one now. Had to get it shipped from Australia though.
