High-speed testing (115 mph driver/90 mph 7-iron)

At faster swing speeds, Bridgestone’s four Tour B models separated by spin and flight rather than just distance. The Tour B X led in total yardage. RX and RXS offered a softer feel and more playable launch conditions for those near the edge of the high-speed range.

• Tour B X → One of the longest balls tested (324.8 yards total) with mid-high spin and a flatter flight.
• Tour B XS → Slightly shorter off the tee (320.9 yards) but the highest-spinning Bridgestone in wedge testing (5,989 rpm). Lower-launching and built for players who value greenside precision.
• Tour B RX → Mid-spin option that paired solid distance (315.8 yards) with a higher launch window, offering a balanced mix of carry and control.
• Tour B RXS → Softest feel and lowest driver spin (2,549 rpm). Produces a slightly higher flight.

Mid-speed testing (100 mph driver/80 mph 7-iron)

The Tour B RX and RXS are tuned for this mid-speed range and both showed softer feel and higher launch characteristics.

• Tour B RX → Produced one of the most balanced results at this speed, combining 286.9 yards of total distance with moderate spin (2,550 rpm) and a consistent, higher flight window.
• Tour B RXS → Slightly softer and lower spinning (2,357 rpm) than RX. Gave up a bit of distance but launched higher.
• Tour B X → Firm feel with 284.4 yards of total distance and slightly more spin than the RX models. Works well for players near the top of this speed range who prefer a flatter, more penetrating flight.
• Tour B XS → Offers extra stopping power into greens although it isn’t quite as long off the tee as RX or X.

Low-speed testing (85 mph driver/65 mph 7-iron)

At slower swing speeds, Bridgestone’s Tour B RX and RXS showed the most benefit from their softer cores and higher launch profiles. The firmer X and XS remained consistent but didn’t generate the same carry advantage for lower swing speed golfers.

• Tour B RXS → Posted the longest total distance (220.6 yards) and the lowest driver spin (3,025 rpm).
• Tour B RX → Nearly identical in performance to the XS, reaching 219.7 yards with slightly higher spin (3,138 rpm). Produced a steady, predictable flight that favors golfers looking for balanced launch and control.
• Tour B X → Firmer construction led to lower flight and less total distance (217.8 yards). Better suited for players with more speed than this group typically generates.
• Tour B XS → Highest spin of the four (3,333 rpm) with a slightly shorter total (216.9 yards). Provided strong control and feel.
