FootJoy is introducing two limited-edition styles in collaboration with street-fashion icon Jon Buscemi to celebrate THE PLAYERS Championship.
“FJ by Jon Buscemi” consists of two golf shoes: the Premiere Series Field and Premiere Series Wilcox. Both silhouettes have been elevated by Buscemi’s sense of style and each boasts a luxurious feel while staying true to their traditional roots.

Elevated Style
If you’re unfamiliar with Jon Buscemi, you’re not alone. It’s not very often that the worlds of luxury sneakers and streetwear collide with golf. But, when they do, the results are enticing.
“The Field and Wilcox offer two totally different canvases in terms of their esthetics so I was really up for the challenge creating something unique for each one,” says Buscemi. “I loved getting the opportunity to add to the energy and vibe of the current Premiere Series collection.”
It’s important to note that this isn’t Buscemi’s first foray into golf. The luxury footwear designer teamed up with FootJoy last year for a similar collaboration. This year’s FJ by Jon Buscemi collection plays off of a similar color palate, highlighted by a host of gold accents that are sure to keep your eyes (and the players’) on the prize.
The understated cream upper is the perfect complement to the eye-popping FJ emblem that proudly adorns each model.
Same Old Performance
The same old reliable FootJoy performance you know and love has not been altered, despite the cosmetic changes.
All of the goodies that the FootJoy Premier Series of golf shoes is known for, including the VersaTrax+ outsole and Ortholite EcoPlush FitBed, were untouched to provide performance that parallels the elevated style.
The FootJoy by Jon Buscemi collection won’t just make its retail debut on March 9. The shoe(s) will be worn at THE PLAYERS Championship by the likes of Justin Thomas, Max Homa and Will Zalatoris, among other FJ staffers.
Good as Gold
Are you looking to scoop up a pair from the FJ by Jon Buscemi collection? This limited-edition collaboration will undoubtedly sell out fast. Stop by FootJoy to learn more and be sure to tune in to THE PLAYERS Championship for an on-course look at this “golden” collaboration.

2 weeks agoAppreciate the article. But these shoes are so not me, both in terms of looks and price. They also look as if they’d be an effort to keep clean, especially if you play on a “wet” course.

2 weeks agoNot in this lifetime would I pay that for a pair of golf shoes, ridiculous.

2 weeks agoI don’t particularly care what a golf shoe looks like, and I don’t want to pay a lot more for limited editions. My concern is comfort and stability. I played the original Golf Sneaker for many years, and they felt great and walking 18 holes was no problem. They were stable on the terrain at my home course. The newer model did not feel as comfortable, so I have gone to the HyperFlex. Again, comfortable and stable, and I can walk all day.
I play golf for fun and have no need to wear golf duds as a fashion statement.

2 weeks agoWhat’s next ? 1920 model shoes ? Foot Joy is slowly driving into the setting sunset ..The product looks cheaper but more expensive to purchase! Each year their shoes are less in good design like china’s cheap attempt to be high quality .. Drop the price and get back to good designs with high quality.
