Best Golf Gifts for Dad

It’s that time of year again to officially recognize all the great dads out there. While a golf polo is a pretty traditional gift, we thought maybe you want to dig a little deeper this year. We broke down some of the best golf gifts for your dad and split them into various price ranges to make this an easier decision for you.

Best Golf Gifts for Dad Under $100

Vice Pro Plus Golf Balls

The Vice Pro Plus is a four-piece golf ball designed for maximum distance while still offering a soft feel around the green. In our 2023 ball testing, the Vice Pro Plus was one of the best values we could find.

For $38.99, the Vice Pro Plus offers many of the same benefits as a premium ball.

Waggle The Green Hatket Hat

Waggle makes fun hats that work well as a Father’s Day gift. This particular one is $35, has a bit of a Masters motif and is comfortable and adjustable. If you have a dad who needs a little fun on the course, this is a good choice.

CMC Design Black Clover Live Lucky Headcover

The CMC Black Clover Live Lucky logo headcover can bring a bit of personality to your dad’s golf bag. Not only does it protect the driver from damage but it’s also a unique and well-made gift. The head cover costs $39.99 and pairs well with a new driver for dad.

Shot Scope CONNEX Tracking System

An image of the Shot Scope CONNEX Shot Tracking system.

The Shot Scope CONNEX Tracking System is a good gift for the techy dad. The system comes with sensors that fit in the grip of your dad’s clubs. Shot Scope will provide him with advanced shot tracking, performance data and detailed analytics.

If you’ve heard anything like; “This is the year I’m really going to work on my game,” the $99 Shot Scope CONNEX Tracking System could help him achieve that goal.

Blue Tees Magnetic Caddie Towel 4-1

If your dad doesn’t have a magnetic golf towel, let this be your sign that he needs one. There’s nothing not to like about this $39.99 towel from Blue Tees Golf. It is convenient, keeps clubs and balls clean and the magnet makes it so easy to use.

TravisMathew Grade 2.0 Woven Belt

Woven belts are popular on the golf course this year. They can be paired with the Puma Dealer Short or a TravisMathew Polo for a great addition to your dad’s wardrobe. The belt is $50. It’s durable, adjustable and suitable for on- and off-course wear.

Puma Dealer Short

The Puma Dealer short comes in both an 8” or a 10” model, so it’s not hard to find one that works for your dad. The key here is that these lightweight and breathable shorts are available in a wide range of colors.

They have multiple pockets and you’ll probably want to order yourself a pair while you’re grabbing one for dad.

Johnnie-O Harkins Printed Performance Polo

The $99 Johnnie-O Harkins Printed Performance Polo is a comfortable shirt with moisture-wicking technology. Johnnie-O does a nice job with its fabrics. If your dad is picky about which types of shirts he will wear, this one will make the cut.

Golf Forever Training System

“Golfing Forever” sounds like a pretty good plan to most dads! The Golf Forever Program may help him make that dream a reality. This comprehensive training program includes resistance bands and instructional videos.

The goal of the Golf Forever Program is to improve golf fitness and overall performance. If you’ve got a dad on a health and fitness kick, the $199 Golf Forever Training System is a great choice.

(Scottie Scheffler uses it so that’s all the proof your dad should need that the system works.)

Whoop 4.0

While we are on the health and wellness kick, let’s not forget about Whoop 4.0. The Whoop 4.0 is an advanced fitness tracker that monitors everything from sleep to recovery to daily activity.

While it’s not a specific golf game tracker, the Whoop 4.0 will help anyone learn what it takes to perform their best. It’s $239 and you’ll be helping to encourage a healthy lifestyle and better golf performance at the same time.

WellPutt 10′

The WellPutt 10-foot putting mat is a staff favorite at MyGolfSpy. The $148.99 mat has multiple visual aids to help with alignment and distance control. Your dad will never get bored with the WellPutt as there are numerous challenges and drills. We love the  realistic roll of the ball on the WellPutt.

FootJoy Tour Alpha 24

If your father is still taking out his FootJoy saddle shoes from 15 years ago, please help him out with a modern pair. These $199 FootJoy Tour Alpha 24 shoes offer premium waterproof technology and comfort.

As your dad ages, stability in a golf shoe is incredibly important and the Tour Alpha 24 is stable and sturdy.

Walking the golf course provides so many benefits. To do it right, a push cart like the ClicGear Model 4.0 is necessary. This push cart is priced at $299 and includes a large storage console and cup holder.

PING G430 Max 10K Driver

The PING G430 Max 10K was our best overall driver of 2024. The club features maximum distance and forgiveness in one of the most accurate drivers we have seen.

The good news is that the PING G430 Max 10K can work for slow and fast swing speeds. The driver is priced at $599 but the technology is so advanced that you can tell your dad that this one counts as his birthday gift as well!

Rapsodo MLM2PRO Launch Monitor

The Rapsodo MLM2PRO Launch Monitor was the Best Value launch monitor we tested. It’s priced at $699 and provides data on ball speed, launch angle and distance. The app is very easy to work with (even for dads).

With the Rapsodo you can easily transition from the driving range to backyard use. The kind of data the Rapsodo provides will help your dad take his game to the next level.

Final Thoughts

Any one of these gifts will put a smile on your dad’s face this Father’s Day. If you are a father yourself, make sure that this list ends up in the hands of the right person!

How are Srixon balls not included in this article? They do the buy 2 get 1 free deal every year at this time for… FATHER’S DAY, and it is when I always refill my arsenal. It’s my Father’s Day gift to myself.
I would take the Z-Star XV or Diamond all day long over what Vice offers and the Srixon’s are 3 dozen for $100 right now.

I sure would hate to lose my forty dollar golf towel or my forty dollar headcover out on the course. I hope my forty dollar plastic snap band hat doesn’t blow off while I’m looking for them

“I sure would hate to lose my $150 golf club out on the course! I sure would hate to leave my wallet out on the course! I sure would hate to forget to put on pants when I walk out of the house this morning!”

Somehow, the vast majority of people manage to get through life without just straight-up abandoning their property as they play golf. It’s weird, but I guess just not buying nice shit because you can’t keep track of it is another answer…

Where can you find the Rapsodo for $499? It’s listed as $699. I know it comes with a year subscription, but you have to buy it like that.
