Build Your Own Golf Sim Studio with Rapsodo

There are few things better than a gourmet meal. That said, the planning and preparation that goes into making one can often feel like it’s not worth the gravy. I guess that’s why Chili’s exists, after all.

The same can be said for building a golf simulator. The idea of owning your very own simulator and, thus, the ability to practice your game 24/7 sounds great in theory but the actual legwork of planning, prepping and building is enough to make a grown man (or woman) give up on their dreams.

That’s where Rapsodo comes in. If you’re going to make one of the best launch monitors out there, it’s a no-brainer to offer golf simulator packages to make your dream of at-home golf a reality.

In short, Rapsodo has everything (mostly) ready to go. All you’ve got to worry about is choosing the package deal that’s best for your space. Let’s run through what a Rapsodo Golf Sim Studio entails and how this could be the right fit for your home.

Five Options

When perusing Rapsodo’s website for a golf sim studio, you’ll notice five distinct options, just enough to fit most needs but not so many that making a decision can feel overwhelming.

And, with the exception of the Golf Return Net Studio (more on that in a minute), each of the other four golf sim studio packages are the same in contents (although they vary in size).

Golf Sim Enclosures

Rapsodo MLM2PRO

If you’re looking for a traditional screen and mat and enclosure simulation experience, you have these four options:

  • Golf Sim Studio Enclosure 10 (10’W x 8’6″H x 5’4″D)
  • Golf Sim Studio Enclosure 12 (12’W x 8’6″H x 5’4″D)
  • Golf Sim Studio Enclosure 13 (13’W x 8’6″H x 5.4″D)
  • Golf Sim Studio Enclosure 13 Deep (13’W x 8’6″H x 10’D)

As the naming system suggests, each is different in size to accommodate various spaces. Each of these golf sim studio packages comes with the following:

  • Simulator enclosure (size based on package you choose)
  • Hitting mat (5’x5′)
  • Collection mat (to place under the enclosure)
  • Projector mount
  • 25-foot cable

It’s worth noting that in all Rapsodo golf sim studio packages you must manually check the box to add both the award-winning Rapsodo MLM2PRO ($699.99) and the short-throw projector ($849.99). These two products are the brains of your new golf sim so ensure you add them to your bundle (unless you already have one or both).

Each of the four enclosure golf sim studios requires less than 30 minutes of assembly. That’s a win in my book.

Pricing for the Golf Sim Studio Enclosure 10 (with MLM2PRO and Projector add-on) is $4,373.29. The most expensive of the bunch, the Golf Sim Studio Enclosure 13, costs $4,533.42. The other two enclosure-based sim studios fall within that range.

Golf Net Sim (Best for Small Spaces or Outdoor Use)

The fifth and final option of Rapsodo’s golf sim packages is the Golf Return Net Studio. As the name suggests, this package swaps the enclosure screen for a golf return net. This option is considerably more economical and is the most compact of the bunch (8’6’W x 8’6″H). It can be set up in less than 10 minutes, barely enough time to finish making your Kraft Mac & Cheese.

  • Golf return net
  • Hitting mat (5’x5′)
  • Collection mat

Of course, if you go for this option and don’t already own the Rapsodo MLM2RO, don’t checkout before you add this to your cart.

The Golf Return Net Sim with the Rapsodo MLM2PRO will set you back $1,955.37.

Have Your Cake (And Eat It, Too)

Rapsodo’s comprehensive golf sim studio offerings are a no-brainer if you want something that requires minimal work but plenty of reward.

Are there drawbacks? Always. Just like cooking a meal at home is (for the most part) going to be more economical than my go-to Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers from Chili’s, building your own golf sim from scratch will probably cost you less in the long run.

That said, if you’re willing to cover the cost of convenience, Rapsodo has you covered.
