Callaway CARGO

9.2 overall

The Bottom Line

The Callaway CARGO was this year's staff pick for 2025. With it's roomy storage, the CARGO will literally hold "everything but the kitchen sink" for you on the golf course.

Buy This If

  • You need massive storage for every contingency.

The Callaway CARGO is their largest cart bag to date. With 45 liters of storage capacity, this thing has the room for all your apparel and equipment needs to fit nearly every contingency.

  • Need space for your libation of choice.

With an oversized, lined cooler pocket, the CARGO will carry enough drinks for you and the members of your foursome, if you’re willing to share that is.

Don’t Buy This If

  • You’re playing oversized and/or offset putter grips.

While removing some putter grip styles for the molded putter well, the grip would catch or hang up on the underside edge.

I cut myself quite badly on the 3rd tee. By reaching into my bag. I thought it was a tee at first. It was the Zip that accessed the internal tube of the bag. The zip was facing up with no protection over it, basically shaped like a hook. It went under my finger nail into the nail bed…was bleeding a lot. Ended up ruining my glove, clothing and had to finish the round early. That zip is the first thing I check now, when buying a new bag.
