Best Golf Shoes Under $150 For 2025

We’re in the middle of the golf season and if your shoes are starting to fall apart making it tough to stay balanced during your swing, it might be time for a replacement. Poor traction, worn-out cushioning or water seeping in are all signs it’s time to upgrade. If your golf budget doesn’t allow for premium pricing, we’ve pulled together a list of the best golf shoes under $150 based on 2025 MyGolfSpy Shoe testing. These shoes offer serious performance without the premium price tag.

Skechers Go Golf Prestige SL

The Prestige SL is one of the top-performing spikeless golf shoes of 2025, finishing third overall in the best spikeless golf shoe test. It offers standout comfort and hands-free slip-in functionality, making it ideal for casual golfers and walkers. The only knock is that while traction is decent, it’s not as aggressive as some competitors. This one is a good fit for moderate swing speeds.

Skechers Go Golf Elite 6

If comfort is your top priority, the Skechers Go Golf Elite 6 might be your best pick. It was rated the Most Comfortable Spikeless Shoe of 2025 and still finished fifth overall. The only trade-off is a slight loss of rigidity compared to more stable models so golfers who swing hard may prefer something more supportive.

Skechers Go Golf Flight

This was MyGolfSpy’s Best Value Spikeless Golf Shoe of 2025, coming in with a strong overall score of 94.3. It’s extremely comfortable and budget-friendly at just $95. However, traction is a weak point so it’s not ideal for wet conditions or aggressive swings. Maybe you’ve picked up on the fact that top-quality traction for high swing speeds is hard to find in more affordable shoes.

PUMA Ignite Elevate 2

PUMA’s Ignite Elevate 2 was a top-10 finisher in the 2025 spikeless test, praised for its balance of versatility, comfort and modern design. It offers solid traction and comfort in a lightweight package. While it won’t lead the pack in any single category, it’s a strong, well-rounded option under $150.

adidas CODECHAOS 25

The CODECHAOS 25 continues the success of its predecessors with a bold design and great all-around performance. It scored inside the top 10 in 2025 testing, standing out for its grippy outsole and modern look. The only downside may be the aesthetic; it’s not for traditionalists who prefer classic styling. Some styles are still $160 and others are well under $150.

Skechers Go Golf Elite Vortex Rival

This shoe was the Most Comfortable Spiked Golf Shoe of 2025 and it still managed to finish in the top five overall. The Go Golf Elite Vortex Rival is surprisingly affordable at $110 and offers plush cushioning that’s great for long walks. Its weakest trait is traction.

Under Armour Drive Fade

The Drive Fade was named Best Value Spiked Golf Shoe of 2025, offering strong traction and waterproofing at a mid-range price. It performed solidly across categories but didn’t match the comfort of some Skechers or PAYNTR models. It’s also on the narrow side so wide-footed golfers should try before buying.

FootJoy Traditions

FootJoy’s Traditions model was a steady performer in 2025 testing, offering a classic design paired with solid stability and waterproof protection. It’s a great choice if you want a traditional look without losing performance. Just know that it’s not the softest shoe on the list; it leans more stable than cushy.

I just wish my nice golf shoes smell like Canadian Geese piss.
It even goes in your socks, especially around the ponds and water features.
It’s a real problem, I’m thinking about spraying them with water proofing them, before wearing them.
      Any clues besides that.

These are well and good, but if you have wide feet, i.e. 2E or 4E, you’re out of luck. By chance, I discovered FitVille spikeless golf shoes (size 13E) that are considerably more comfortable than the Skechers I bought last year. What drove me to try them was the price, $83.00. I have since bought tennis sneakers and they fit like a charm. Check them out.
