Get In, Buddy! We’re Going on a Golf Trip

The two most beautiful words in the English language?

Love you?

Miss you?

Nope. Not even close.

Golf Trip!

This year, to celebrate the Player’s Championship, Under Armour is inviting you and your buddies on a Golf Trip with a limited edition apparel capsule designed to help you celebrate one of life’s greatest joys.

The collection features a host of whimsical patterns and prints that speak to the different aspects of going on a golf trip with your best friends. There are airplane prints, bright and bodacious board shorts and a slick polo featuring graphics that symbolize different PGA Tour stops.

Can you spot them all? There’s citrus, volcanoes, cactus and even gators.

And I freakin’ love it.

Under Armour Golf has really done a paradigm shift over the last 2-3 years. They’ve leaned heavily into being more in touch with the new generation of golfers, the kind (like me) that love a little whimsy, well-thought-out storytelling and unique design.

And there are few brands, if any, doing it as well.

Where others may stick to the status quo, Under Armour is branching out and doing things its own way. Golf Trip, like some of the limited capsules that have come before it, is not merely a representation of where Under Armour is as a brand.

But rather, where they’re going.

And right now, it looks like they’re heading somewhere warm. Fun. Full of joy and (hopefully) a little more golf with friends.

You can shop the Under Armour Golf Trip collection starting now at underarmour.com.

I’ve been all-in on Under Armour gear for a number of years now. I’m very happy with their quality and especially variety. I like color. It helps that they have outlet stores in Maine and in Virginia, where my kids live and where I visit several times a year. So I don’t even pay normal retail (except for the Heat Gear).

Their golf shirts and golf shorts, running and exercise shorts, socks, sockettes, t-shirts, Cold Gear and Heat Gear, quarter-zips and hoodies, some pants, backpacks, golf shoes, and sneakers (I have five colors of the same style, avoiding the situation where you find a shoe you like and then a year later its discontinued; so I may never need to buy sneakers again).

The only thing I don’t get from them is underwear (Jockey is my go-to), though I do have two pairs.
