Sun Day Red’s Latest Release Is Built for Golf’s Toughest Major

Sun Day Red is bringing a distinctly links-inspired look to golf’s biggest summer stage with the launch of its new Royal Collection, a limited lineup created to coincide with The Open Championship.

Designed around the unique demands of links golf, the collection blends classic styling with modern performance across polos, outerwear, footwear, bags and accessories. Wind, changing weather and long days on the course were all central considerations, with every piece built to handle the unpredictable conditions players face during Open week.

Leading the apparel lineup is the Molinos Wind Shell Crew, a lightweight technical layer designed for breezy conditions without sacrificing comfort or mobility. The Breakers Polo serves as the flagship shirt in the collection, pairing a refined look with the performance fabrics Sun Day Red has quickly become known for.

The collection also introduces a new colorway of the Osprey golf shoe in White/Burgundy. Built for both on-course performance and everyday wear, it features a versatile design aimed at golfers looking for one shoe that transitions seamlessly beyond the course.

Rounding out the launch is a premium Vessel capsule featuring the Royal 3-way Sunday Bag and matching plaid headcovers for the driver, fairway wood and putter.

The Royal Collection arrives July 9 and will be available through Sun Day Red’s website and select golf retailers. With premium pricing across the lineup, the release is aimed at golfers who appreciate elevated apparel and accessories inspired by one of the sport’s most iconic championships.

All these clothing companies that have popped up over the last few years are just another way to separate golfers from their money. I can afford all of these brands but wouldn’t waste the $. But again, to each their own.

One of the worst golf clothing companies I have ever seen, and the bar is very, very low.
