The Best Vintage Golf Hats I Found on eBay

I interrupt our regularly scheduled new gear releases to bring you a blast from the past.

Recently, I stumbled upon a few Instagram accounts that specialize in vintage golf hats. As a kid born in the late ’90s, I’ve never been one to appreciate some of the older stuff out there.

Until now.

In case you didn’t know, vintage is in. What’s old is new(ish) again and it’s sending me down a second-hand rabbit hole on eBay to look for the coolest vintage golf stuff money can buy.

I’ve just scratched the surface on what’s out there but I’ve been finding some pretty cool stuff I can’t wait to share with you.

Whether it brings up nostalgic memories or has you running to your closet to find your old high school golf team cap, the purpose of this piece is to share a little bit of what golf used to be. Here are the best vintage golf hats I found on eBay.

Vintage PING Aztec Golf Hat

This beauty is a little on the pricey side of things but, man, is it cool! As with any vintage golf hat, the condition is something to pay attention to. Even still, the buckle is still in pretty good condition and the leather backstrap can always be cleaned and conditioned.

With a little TLC, this vintage PING Aztec golf hat can easily find its way into your hat rotation or onto your office display shelf.

Vintage Suede Callaway Golf Hat

How long has it been since you’ve seen this Callaway logo? The throwback logo along with the supple suede brim makes this piece pretty darn special. If the condition scares you, just pick up a suede brush and you’ll be good to go!

Vintage TaylorMade Strapback Golf Hat

This TaylorMade beauty is another vintage golf hat that really caught my eye. Made by American Manufacturing Concepts, this ’80s or ’90s era hat features a leather strap and shiny gold buckle.

This guy is a little beat up but a soft brush and some strain remover should make quick work of the spots on the brim.

Vintage PING Houndstooth Golf Hat

This vintage PING hat with its sweet houndstooth pattern is in like-new condition. There’s hardly any yellowing and the sweatband looks pristine.

Couple the condition with the rare and fun pattern and you’ve got yourself a pretty special piece.

Vintage NIKE Golf Strapback Hat

While the condition on this one isn’t quite up to snuff with some of my other picks, this vintage NIKE cap was just too cool not to feature. I love the Velcro strapback and woven construction. This ’90s beauty needs a little work but the price and potential makes it worth checking out.
