melin Links Drive

What We Like

  • Subtle color palette
  • I'd love to play more golf

What We Don't Like

  • Playing more golf means losing more golf balls

The Bottom Line

melin’s new Links Drive collection is yet another successful series in my favorite lineup of hats. Premium headwear come at a premium price, but I love that melin is dedicated to golf as much as I am.

How could I say no?

Melin’s emergence into golf has been nothing but calculated. A series of golf-themed drops and signing budding star Jake Knapp have helped legitimize the brand in a space that’s overcrowded with headwear.

melin’s Links collection has been very successful this year. From a series of neon UV-activated prints to cheesy golf phrases on white melin hats, the Links lineup has always kept my attention.

The latest addition to their growing golf repertoire is no different. Introducing melin Links Drive. The theme behind this line is simple: Play More Golf.

The simplicity of the message is echoed by the simplicity of the design language; navy with white hits and subtle branding. The end result is a very wearable hat that whispers “golf” rather than screams it, like some of the past Links drops.

How can my wife say no to another 18 when I’m rocking this bad boy?

I love Hats, but I am not spending $90 on this.
      Honestly who is buying these?

If I bought bought two or three of these hats I then wouldn’t have the money to actually play golf.

Are there really tons of people interested in this overpriced nonsense?

They are premium, but compared to a New Era Cap they are far superior. They offer different sizes in a snap back so my giant head can fit and it looks proportional.

I wish they would start some licensing with colleges and other leagues.
